As a man with a strongman sort of physique, we do pull off the "large fat man" and "buff as fuck" all at once. Having a large and muscular core and chest makes even a small amount of extra fat look like a lot. I like to describe it as stealth buff, you aren't gonna realize how much of the guy is muscle until you are flying through the air like an overly sour grapefruit.

The grumps dream course is truly one of their best series ever. The original game is wonderful and another great series, but the one that was made specifically for the grumps was incredible. So sad they don't play it any more, I'm sure the creator could add new levels and there's plenty of people willing to make them, heck if I found out the tools to make a level, I'd make my own.
Very true but with the original and the remake it’s enough. Idk I feel like watching the same game over and over and over gets too boring. If it was set in a different version for example monopoly(different board games and rules) then we have something going on. But it’s such a simple game and I love it like shovel knight!

There were still some levels they didn't play through that they could go and revisit the game for. Then again I also understand not wanting to play through every single one so that there can always be something new to experience with it in the future.

The level of thinking about how deeply entrenched Obama is into the grumps, especially following the joke about Arin not animating anymore, and knowing about the insane piles of emails the grumps always get about the "obvious" mistakes they're making in these games. I love how so oddly specific each one of these titles are and yet I recognize each one
I died at the "hey dan, i shit myself so bad that i sobered from the opium"... i can't believe i never saw that episode
there was a good just adventure that stretched a few episodes from mario galaxy and kirby's dream course where Arin was healthy, felt a little sick, felt really sick, went to the doctor, and was out of it, culminating in that line, it was a joke weeks in the making and it made me cry

Pharmacy technician here. In case anyone thinks that Arin and Dan's story about opium is a lie or an exaggeration, I can confirm that it is not. Plenty of pharmacies (mine included) keep a tincture of opium in their controlled substance safe. (A tincture (tink-tchr) is sort of like an extract.) It is a liquid and on every package I've seen of it, it says OPIUM in big letters then tincture below it in smaller letters. Probably just because it's a longer word but I like to think that the design team wanted to make the label a little more fun. I know Arin doesn't need me to confirm his illness for him but for anybody doubting that story... don't. It's true.
Yeah, there's a number of illegal drugs that, in smaller doses, are used in legal drugs.

It's more common as dextroamphetamine (which is the main component of Adderall) but pharmacies can carry straight methamphetamine. Pseudoephedrine, which is often used to make crystal meth, is a stimulant decongestant that is very useful for people struggling with allergies.
Pharmaceutical grade opium, believe it or not, is actually used to help folks who are struggling with diarrhea, among other things. The fact that Arin shit himself so hard that he sobered up from the opium, and the fact that it's a "serum," per Dan's description, tells me that it was likely a tincture of opium. It's very helpful for people with chronic diarrhea and other intestinal problems like Crohn's because it slows down the smooth muscle tissue of the intestines.
During a linguistics class, my professor was talking about pre-actions in speech, and was referring to specific ones as different types of "pre." Needless to say, all I could think of the rest of that lecture was the grumps going "I'm gonna pre!"

Whenever I'm in a bad place mentally or emotionally, I always just find a playlist of any Kirby game Danny and Arin have played and watch it through. Their unfiltered joy and happiness while playing Kirby games is pure food for the soul. I found the Kirby's Dream Course and Grump's Dream Course episodes at a particularly rough patch in my life. I binged nearly all of them in a single day. I followed Danny and Arin through the disappointment of losing the Pokemon episodes that kicked off the Dream Course series, to their repeated playthroughs because they were so addicted and enchanted. Then I followed them through Grump's Dream Course, and their uncontainable excitement and wonder at the amazing thing so many lovelies put together for them.
Thank you Danny and Arin for all you do. You've probably heard this a million times, but when the world seems dreary and pointless you guys are shining beacons of silliness and joy
When they can see each other in person and play together again, I really hope they play Grumps Dream course again. It's a love letter if ever there was one. May the backstreet boys reunion tour stop soon. I want our grumpy boys back together.
