repair/ replace Saab roof Antenna (cheap and easy)

Hello and welcome to all my DIY Mechanics, in this short Video I am going to show you how to change the roof antenna of your Saab.
This seems to be a weak spot, or at least both of my 95s have this crusted, broken, ugly antenna. Happily it can be changed pretty quickly and by only changing the cover and not the whole antenna it´s also very cheap.
The antenna is held in place by a nut which you have to reach from underneath. For accessing it you have to remove this plastic cover for the third break light, then these two plastic things, turn them 90 ° and they come off. Now the roof can be slightly pulled down enough to reach the nut. Unscrew the nut.
Now the antenna can be pulled up. Be careful not to damage the little plastic hooks that hold the antenna as we want to reuse the base antenna and only change the broken cover.
For that, unscrew these little Torx screws, then the cover is lose. I have ordered this new cover, which is big enough to fit over the base antenna.
Before sticking that onto the roof, push the base antenna back into the roof, secure it with the Nut (that´s important as it has a rubber seal on the bottom to prevent moisture getting in).
Now stick the new Antenna Cover in place. It comes with the fitting cutout of double sided 3M Tape.
