    Simple enough, Jimi always uses this method. He also uses the notes of the chord as well. TY Brother, very nicely taught,,, :)

    Great lesson man!!! I’ve been perusing lots of the Jimi style lessons. Some good (and bad) ones out there but found this very clear, accessible and with a takeaway that’s manageable to learn in one session.

      He's an amazing instructor. I'm almost 67 years old and have played guitar since I was ten years old. I was very rusty and kinda mad at myself for letting my skills go since performing professionally around the world. I found Danny and was one of the first in Your guitar academy and I'm much better on electric as I wanted to improve my leae guitar skills. I'm not paid to say this. There are toms of free lessons too.

    Never thought about the pentatonic scale being close by the whole time mate.
    Great tip,so easy to mix licks with chords that way.

    Very good explanation. What helped most is the root not from the pinky of the chord. I love it when people can explain things so well.. good job and stay with it. Regards!
