Think V1's overstated how much of it is spoken in the 3rd person, there were maybe four relatively short snippets where he'd talk as The Rock about key matches in his career, like he's doing a running commentary as if it were happening in front of him. The rest of the book, his life, career progression etc, is straightforward. The only negative about the book is Rock hasn't had that remarkably different a life to many other wrestlers, there's no real insight into the business apart from what he learnt seeing his Grandparents working as heads of the respected wrestling family.
I think the hard part of sharing faith is that it’s part of the deal. Someone got born again and therefore wants to share it with others how its changed their life. If it’s genuine, you cant help but share. I think Lex wanted to share something that he himself is passionate about with the reader.

Silence of the Lambs reference. Marking out.
Jay’s old entrance theme was “Goodbye Horses” until marks in the crowd started to do the ‘ole “tuck and ‘fuck?’” as he was walking to the ring.
Mick Foley released his first book and it became a massive success, next thing you know every wrestler is trying to grab a piece of that pie.
How very "wresting" XD
Yeah man! Every wrestler autobiography has Mick Foley to thank a little bit. It wouldn't even be an option to consider before his came along! One of my favourite autobiographies, absolute banger!
I could listens to these all day! We want more OOC!
Still luv you Lex
Love these! Great work boys 👍
Little behind the scenes question:
It seems like you record these book reviews when you lads get together to record normal episodes. So if we get one these, is it safe to assume that the next big review is recorded and being prepared?
Watch til the end it comes up on screen 😃
@@OSW fair bollocks, I should've waited.
I'm impressed that you've copped that we record these with the episode, you're the first one to mention it. Can of coke to you!
You ever wrestle with the devil in the pale moonlight?
Dynamite Kid’s book is great if you can track it down
I got a copy this Christmas. Love his wrestling but what a bell end. Kendo Nagasaki's book is also fascinating!
@@jackspence6061 yeah - he was a really nasty piece of shit. I love Kendo's book - it also cracks me up that World of Sport had a ladder match nearly 5 years before the Fed did
What does he say about hsi WCW world title reign in 1991 with Harley Race as his manager?
I wish you guys would do a WCW arc again. or a stone cold arc. either way thanks for the content
Seeing you fellas TylerDurden that pic of OOC...and really anytime I see his visage I remark about how UNforeignyMenace he looks. Until I hear that thick Puerto Rican accent....or swedish or whatever....and then Lex Luger reminds me just how much OOC loves America and that *OOC is ready, willing and able and he's ready for success. OOC heard the call to Action from the MIGHTY Lex Express*
M.O.M. 2000...MiddleEarth, Ooc and MO.....they're on a MISSION!!!
green bay packers but never played the rest in canada and some matches in breakout leagues and he got 1350$ för the robe on hardcore pawn detroit and hoping for the next book review being diana hart "under the mat"
Jericho's 2nd book is fine. Even the Fozzy stuff IMO.
I like these. Please keep doing them
Like these book reviews
When was Lex WWF champion (17:00)
Lol
OOC, please give us your top 10 all-time wrestling books!
Have we gotten an OOC Top 5 wrestling biographies?
No mention of Superbrawl Saturday whenever that was.
Might get heat for this but I really don't mind Rock's book.
Another awesome video
Thanks, OOC!
Shout out to that Cross edit XD
5:29 "I was Showboating in Mempihs"
Anything from Mr. OOC please. I could listen to him review a phone book.
This is awesome 😊😊
Foreword by Sting.
And he got 25k for each word.
I bought a copy of Bruce Hart's book after watching OOC's review of it. But I don't think I'll be doing the same for Luger's. Not just for the lazy effort, but everything about Miss Elizabeth "being clumsy" just doesn't sit well at all ...
"No roids during the WWF run"
_Vince McMahon begins visibly sweating_
For years I've hated lex luger for what happened to Miss Elisabeth
Mean Gene is on the record blaming Lex too
Liz was doing this before they met, but being with Lex didn’t help.
@@super610 plus they were lex' pills that killed her
On a real note, I avoid any wrestler's book they don't write themselves.
Without the disclaimer would people have thought this comment was written on a false note?
Dan Severn's book next?
Going to meet him this Saturday
This is the content.
Does OOC sound like Karl Pilkington or is it just me?
I will listen to every wrestling book review
Great stuff!
