I love that your first public video is on HSR since I'm a big HYV fan, but I only got to know you because I'm also a huge PVZ fan. Edit: I agree a lot...I think LCs allow for more flexible weapon choices for characters, but it feels so irrelevant and forgettable. (At least it gives a bit of lore) This video is a bit of a rant on how new the game is and how a lot of the content wasn't accessible yet (I got really bored), but I think it's getting better. I'm really curious on your opinion of HSR now that it's been out for a while! Edit 2: I LOVE QINGQUE. I'm so happy I got her E4 recently, and unlocked propagation path for her to blast every boss with no effort B)
I will never forget getting wolf’s gravestone instead of homa on Hu Tao’s first banner, and then saving for nearly a year to spend over 200 pulls for homa on her rerun
I've never played either honkai star rail nor genshin impact, so i can't really add anything to the discussion lol. At the very least, i can at least comment on the fact that your voice is quite calming to listen to
Personally i enjoy the lightcones a LOT more bc the lightcones abilities themselves feel much much much more impactful, like, getting a standard character that you dont use's signature weapon is like, "oh, ok, this is gonna look pretty in my inventory forever ig" but if you get claras light cone for example, the attack buffs on it are CRAZY so even if u dont put it on clara its still gonna do numbers, especially if u use lynx w that destruction to buff their chances of getting hit. All of this to say, lightcones feel more impactful and more fun to build around imho
One other thing I find a little annoying about lightcones is the fact that they are all categorized into some sort of classes for their own specific roles. I am someone who enjoys building characters specifically not for their intended use (eg. using supports or healers as dps) in genshin, this works perfectly fine since one type of weapon is useable on characters with all sorts of different roles, which means I could easily slap a misplitter on qiqi and use her as a cryo dps with chongyun, in hsr on the other hand, I can only use support lcs on support units and dps on dps, so it's extremely hard to get creative with builds unless you end up solely relying on relics or if the character is from nihility which is the only class with multiple playstyles iirc.. ;-;
Found you because of the nut videos and I'm really happy to see your other video being on my favourite gacha, with even a Guilty Gear reference in it, your content is actually peak (sorry to burst your bubble btw but qinque is actually on par with seele as a quantum dps lol, love her tho)

watching this video while having a nice bowl of spiced nuts and I gotta say I completely agree. I would also like to add though that the complete lack of visual presence offered by light cones isn't always a bad thing. In Genshin, if a weapon works well on a character but also clashes horribly with their visuals you're forced to look at a fashion disaster in great detail every time you attack, which is also a lot more than in HSR. As someone who is both a professional metamancer and who cares a lot about aesthetics, this gets under my skin a lot more than it realistically should for any healthy adult, so the complete visual irrelevance of light cones can actually make me enjoy the game *more* than if they worked differently. Pretty small thing but worth noting I think

As someone who lost interest in Star Rail after 1.2, I have mixed feelings on light cones vs weapons, because on the while each light cone can be used more or less interchangeably between characters of the same archetype, that leads to most light cones feeling like different pictures of the same thing. Each weapon in Genshin has its own unique identity, such as Aquila Favonia being used almost exclusively on Bennett or the Bell still not being relevant after 4 years, but all the light cones in Star Rail feel like their own form of bad luck protection rather than actual benefits over one thing or another
But you must remember In genshin you must get 2 5* weapon on same baner to get gwarant on weapon you want In honkai if you get free 5* weapon next will be always weapon baner I want to sey im free to play but Topaz weapon breake me and i spend 50$ on it XDD. In genahin even when spanding money i never have gwarant on weapon
