Wow, that's beautiful stuff! The first one really is intriguing, but they all possess gorgeous characteristics and colors.

I'm prejudice because I love Pyrite and I think Number One has some very nice metalics in it. But when I look at them overall, I'm reminded of sort of a Planetary look at an Alien surface. They all turned out very nice and I know the Patreon/Member winners from last month will be happy to get them. Nice job Kyle!

Agree! #1 is my favorite also! Hopefully I'll find something cool with pyrite inside to polish this weekend. Woot woot we got access to an old mine!

Such pretty colors indeed. I love the music too, it seems fitting for such a lovely rock.
I thought it looked similar to a fuschite but for anyone else interested:
"Mariposite is a mineral which is a chromium-rich variety of mica, which imparts an attractive green color to the generally white dolomitic marble in which it is commonly found."

I agree 1 is the best with the metal in it. Cool stuff. I have some and plan to work it eventually. I need a cabbing machine so bad. Nice work Kyle.

Hmmm... ima have to go wit number tree.
I really like the gold/ pyrite mystery splotch😢in number two, though. You should pan out all the swarf from all your lapidaryings to see if you have cut any gold-filled rocks. I think I already told you this, but a local old timer here who does classes & rents his machines or for somewhere around 1 troy ounce of gold. He was panning for silver, because he's also a silversmith, and was super surprised to find gold in his swarf, because he only does silver jewelry. Doesn't work with any gold. He also showed me the graveyard point agate the gold came from, and showed me the difference between the gold flecks & the marcasite or pyrite flecks. That's how I knew about the sewing needle trick. I forgot to tell you to do it under magnification, if you can (which I know you can), because it helps seeing the pin point either pushing into the gold, or being stopped by pyrite, along with feeling the softeners through the pin. Your digital microscope would also show you if there is anything obstructing the potential gold piece, and it helps you see if you're actually on target with the poker needle.

Those are nice pieces. I find Mariposite not far from me in the foothills. I tumble them.

In the second piece is the strong streak of white quartz or chalcedony?
