Forest Friends: The Missing Children of the Forest - Inside A Live

- White Stag Education has been gaining a lot of traction recently after a video surfaced featuring a children's puppet show called Forest Friends. The episode teaches us about Stranger Danger and what steps we must take if we were ever to take a false trail.
This is a new format taken from one of my streams on Twitch. If you enjoy this different style then let me know as these would allow more uploads on this channel where I take quicker looks into ARG's/Unfictions that I think deserve more attention, but also don't need to have a documentary esk approach to it's coverage.

Creator of White Stag Education here, and I feel so honored that you decided to cover it because I have been a big fan of yours for a while! My friends at After10 Productions and I are very excited that our audience is growing at such a fast rate and we get to keep telling this story. Hopefully everyone won’t have to wait too long for the next episode. There’s going to be some answers entering the atmosphere that will only generate more questions and I’m really looking forward to everyone’s reactions. Great work, the puppet show FELT very charming and authentic and the scares actually had me go out of full screen, and I sat through Harmony & Horror completely straight-faced. Keep up the great work and I hope to see more videos (and maybe the puppets and ranger) in the future!
I think another important detail is that they capitalise the S in Stranger, implying it is the name of something specific, not just an unknown person.
Something that wasnt mentioned, the man, Daniel Carpenter, who had the dream about the strangers around the hole in the ground, shares a surname with one of the missing children. Anna Carpenter. My theory is that Anna may be Daniel's daughter, and his dream was a premonition of what Anna would see when she veered off the path and was taken by the strangers.
Anna was the only child to have a sort of glitch effect when panning over her which is either a coincidence or shes important

@@hotwheel42 The video says he's had a "violent encounter" with the Strangers. He may or may not have died. Also, in the very first video we see a POV shot of someone running away from 3 Strangers in the woods at night. It might have been Daniel Carpenter, but then again, we don't know if that person survived or not, either.
The childrens safety made me think of an Inside No. 9 episode Wise Owl, which is a brilliant yet very dark episode, with such a powerful ending edit : spoilers in thread

White stag education? Equals international order of St Hubertus. He is from around 607ce and is the patron Saint of hunting, mathematics, and other stuff. White stag education uses the same stag 🦌 as the order of St. hubertus. Hubertus, while hunting a stag or hart, saw a cross between its antlers. Hence John 3:16. Enoch is not a book of the Bible and is full of misinformation. This person running this channel is either exposing this secret fraternity or is in your face about what they do, hunt children. The issue I have with the comet being hundreds of years ago is the drug causes premonitions, and the team found a comet still in space to name it Ledger’s Comet. I think the strangers are gearing up for its arrival
That fits with the guy not seeing the hole in reality
When it said that heat was emanating from the hole, that must have been where the meteor fell and landed soon before.
So weird to hear about something supernatural taking place in the Pine Barrens that doesn't involve the Jersey Devil.

It's almost like that was in the video
Jamie struggling to read “subconscious” out loud was both hilarious and insanely relatable
During the scene when they’re around the camp fire Luke says never follow a stranger into the forest no matter how friendly they look. That is basically exactly what the puppets did with luke
Also ranger is only 2 letters off from stranger. Though that's probably just a coincidence.
two things. 1. I’m hoping luke isn’t a bad guy because I like him. And 2. Maybe since people found ways to get around the strangers they sent out park ranger Luke to lure kids because he’s a lot more friendlier than all the other strangers we know of
This format was good, it feels more relaxed, and seeing parts of twitch chat appearing makes you feel less alone when eatching these videos, it should definatly be an inbetween piece, its enjoyable and digestable, i quite like it
I love this style (and the original) this is more laid back and personal while original is a documentary vibe

I think this format (if it gives us more content between the big documentaries) would be great for some of the smaller channels! It would be a chance for them to get more recognition for their amazing works and give us more frequent uploads!
The NJ pine barrens is notably the location of a popular North American legend, the Jersey Devil. Wonder if that will play a role at all
"Yo, people, we have a problem with unknown persons or entities causing people to disappear in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. What do we do?"
"How about we send in the National Guard and Army Rangers to smoke them out?"
"Naah. Let's just release a set of video-cassettes with a whole lot of cryptic messages to tell kids to stay away from the woods. It'll be fine."
This gives me the same kind of horror comfort feel that Walten Files does, especially with the red riding hood bit. I love it so much. Nothing else makes me feel how TWF felt, but this is close
The intuitane video pretty much confirms that the drug basically allows the person taking it to predict the future. Margret dreamed of a puppet show that didn't exist at the time, but it was made sometime later. The meteor henry dreamed of was also probably a vision of the future, not of the past. I suppose we don't have enough of a timeline to know for sure, but It probably hasn't crashed yet. (or if it did, it was AFTER henry's dream, not before)
yea, i dont know why that parts completely ignored, maybe it was missed in his misspeaking
I like this format, a simple relaxed rundown of the facts so far and a suggestion to the viewers, I'd be ok with these coming out every now and then so you can find the next bit projects, or just to pay off bills

Just some things that wernt mentioned The names of the special thanks on the Christmas Ceremony spell out "Innocent please help" which could mean a good amount of things. Another one is we do see red riding hood walk near the hole in the video. Also another thing at the end of the puppet show is we see Anna's name glitch out when they show the kids. She was also the one to have a picture on the table. Anna seems to be the most important child as of now. Thanks for covering White Stag its been one of my favorite to watch and needs more recognition

I'm all for this style. A lot of online stuff don't have the meat to make a large documentary and this can give them attention and give you the time to make the content you're known for

I actually really like this style! While it's a different feel form your usual documentaries, but it's still like watching a well edited podcast and it still covers everything very nicely.

I was so shocked when I got this notification I started to click but then froze after I had registered what the video was; a new inside a mind video
This format could honestly work for series that are just starting off, simply giving people a quick rundown on what we start off with before possibly making a full-length video later on when they have enough content to properly review. And like you said, it could also act as a quick little thing to keep the audience entertained. I also gotta commend you on the "Inside A Live" title to help differentiate between the two styles of videos.
I like this format, it reminds me of nightminds analysis stuff from streams just with a more editing.

This new video format is nice honestly. It's a nice supplement on top of your usual output and personally I enjoy when content creators who usually make longer videos put out comparably smaller pieces of work from time to time.

Getting these more casual tastes of series we might otherwise not have seen is great, and I always appreciate when people edit down a video of something they streamed instead of just posting the whole stream.

Glad that you highlighted this channel! I'm going to follow it because it's about time someone used the Pine Barrens as a setting/source for a horror series; it already has so much folklore, in particular the Jersey Devil, and it doesn't seem to have been used specifically, only as an inspiration for "generic spooky forest". The only other online horror work I can think of that used the Barrens is Ong's Hat, and unfortunately, we all saw where that wound up. So thanks for bringing this to my attention.
The format works well in my opinion, and getting more uploads is definitely a plus! Keep up the great work
