T-Shirt Quilts - Using Cricut EasyPress to fuse interfacing & heat sensitive logos & Jerseys

- I am making two t-shirts quilts for a client and thought that I would share how I use my Cricut EasyPress 2 to fuse interfacing onto the backsides of the shirts, and how I deal with logos and jerseys that are heat sensitive. Hope this is helpful for you! I made a typo in the video!! I'm using a Cricut EasyPress 2.....not 3 :)
Supplies I used in this tutorial:
My pressing board video: • Make Your Very Own CUS...
Cricut EasyPress 2: amzn.to/3Wl6yxc
Pellon P44f - I get this from Joann Fabrics
Parchment paper sheets: amzn.to/3wg3wPX

Well now I know what to tell my husband what I want for my birthday! Thanks Lisa!
Using a heat press is a game changer
Thank you Lisa. Really helpful to me with T shirt quilts I’m starting.
Thx for sharing that cool device. Would sure make things go faster! 40 shirts, WOW!
Nice. You really have this down to a science, that’s for sure! Thanks for the tips about seams. 😊
Very helpful!!! I just got a Cricut Press. I also have two t-shirt quilts to make for family members and a little hesitant to get started with the press. This was perfect. Thank you so much.
I think the heat press is 9”x12”. It does make shorter work of that process to be sure! I’ve used the Pellon shapeflex and had to go 30 seconds on 320 degrees of if I recall correctly. I use a teflon sheet to protect the surface. Very nice video! I like the idea of using glue on those armhole and neckline pieces. I was hand stitching mine😵.
Thank you, Lisa. I put one in my cart to save for later.
Thank you Lisa!
Great tips! I love using my EZ Press ❤
Thank you! Your video was very helpful. 😊
I love my Easy Press for this! I don't have space for a regular heat press but the Easy Press is so much better than using a regular iron. I use a teflon sheet to protect the sensitive areas. Thank you for all your t-shirt quilt tutorials. Your teaching and encouraging personality got me started in my own little business.
👍 I also use my Easy Press for t shirt quilts. I have a heat press but it takes up extra space that I do t have at this time in my Craft Room.
Thank you. This is perfect. Now I need one..lol
Thank you. This was very helpful!!
This is very helpful! Thank you ☺️
Totally helped me! Thank you!!!
Thank you It does help me a lot. Thank you so much.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!❤️❤️
I never thought of using the heat press. Genius! Thank you!
Perfect timing, thank you. Was thinking of making a t-shirt 👕 quilt using the rag quilt method. What do you think, is it doable?
I have seen them made that way :)
Great idea! What kind of batting and backing fabric do you use on your T-shirt quilts. Does the interfacing make the quilt heavy when you use batting and backing?
Great questions.
Do you have any video on subliminal
Hi Patricia, I do! I have a whole series on sublimation here on UA-cam :)
May I ask how you go about advertising that you make T-shirt quilts? I’ve made a few but would like to have more clients.
Hey Tasha!! I got all the work I could handle and more from Facebook :) I did a quilt or two and they shared them on their own Facebook pages and all their interested friends and family asked where they had it done. You could offer a discount to your clients if they agree to share on their social medias.....that would be awesome. I also joined some local city/county Facebook groups and posted some pictures of my quilts there. Make sure to check each group as they all have their own "advertising" rules. I did these things the first year and that was it lol. I have not posted in a few years now because it's all word of mouth now.
@@TheQuiltmakerHomestead oh that’s awesome!! Thank you for sharing.
Can I use butcher paper?
Yep, you can use that :)
