Not sure what you mean by it doesn't continue. If you are using the keyboard to record, you push the record button under the display, start playing, then when finished, push it again to stop recording. It will be saved in a user location. Push the audio playback button, scroll to the new recording, using the jog wheel. But to play it back, you push the start button in the rhythm control section. I know it's confusing at first, but I'm sure you can no get it to work ok. I hope this helps.
