Cris Sznoluch, you don't know how glad I am to hear that! I have been dying to get one of those, but after seeing the price tag figured I may need to hold off a while, like a long while! Really appreciate your message Cris, thank you! 🤘
Greetings from South Africa. I am going to check out one today that someone is selling secondhand. R1100 with case ($737) Thanks for the video and keep up the good work🤟😁
LouieKeyser, South Africa, that is awesome! Thank you for your comment, $737 sounds like a pretty good deal, especially with a case! This Jackson holds up very well, feels very solid. Only minor recent issue I had was with my high E string snapping (broke 3 of them when adjusting tension), but I believe this is an isolated issue (user error, most likely). Could have either been due to the locking tuners (just pull the string through the post once and then lock it in), or the string my have been getting caught in the nut (ran some slightly large strings in the nut to help east the tension, added a little bit of pencil lead as well. Problem fixed so far! Other than that, just love this guitar. Let me know how it goes! Thanks for your very kind words brother, have a good one!! 🤘
@@raysmetaltracks6782 I tried it out. Comes with a great case. Perfect condition. The neckshape and fretsize threw me a bit, but I am getting it next Friday! It feels sooo light. I love it. Just want to flat the neck and oil it again. It's hella dry and hot in South Africa and the neck wasn't as smooth as it should be. The pickups surprised me as well. Can't wait to get it. Thanks again for your review. It's one of the reasons I decided to try it out.
I love my dominion. I bought last years transparent blue. Two days after buying it they launched the silver burst. So only complaint would be not getting the silver burst lol. Im actually contemplating putting the dominion p/us in my schecter hellraiser they sound so good. But the neck profile is what sold me. It was the first time in almost 20yrs I picked up a guitar at a store and it felt perfect. Hell at this point i havent played my hellraiser for 3months because the neck feels to small to me now lol.
@Junk Finger, brother I hear ya. Constantly telling you to sub, and buy their stuff, be a patreon member.... Just gets to be too much. Sure appreciate the comment! Thank you! 👍
@@raysmetaltracks6782 A lot of dumbed down stuff out there man. Seems like unless you're pranking or telling guys how to deal with women it's a slow road. But I got enough T shirts that's for sure. Would be nice to make a few dollars off youtube someday, but the whole system is only getting more and more flooded. I've never tried a Jackson guitar. Been playing 3 years, and still have my first guitar a gibson sg
@@Harp_and_Guitar_Moving_Forward You make a great point. Seems like lately the quantity of those videos is on the rise? Guys cashing in on "how to get women" (do they really believe what they are dishing out, or is it just for views?). Oh yes, the prank videos, and the "I was just doing XYZ when this terrifying thing happened to me..." It really is flooded - it can really be overwhelming sometimes. Gibson SG? GREAT guitar. All the tone of a Les Paul, without the heavy weight of say a Les Paul Traditional. Hopefully one of these days we will get beyond this whole Covid thing and we can once again head to the guitar shops again. If you get a chance and can test out the Jackson's, I'd be curious what you think, especially being used to Gibson. 👍 Really appreciate the comments, thank you!!
@@raysmetaltracks6782 Thanks man. I really don't feel the need for another guitar, I'd get this one a perfect set up. I'd still like to go to a store and try guitars though cause when I first went I didn't know a damn thing! Now I got a couple tricks. The whole youtube thing is just kind of lacking good taste and intellect, but hey this is what it is. Maybe someday the right ppl will recognize
I've watched this video a few times. Man, I just love the tone of this guitar. And those Dimarzios...probably my favorite pickup now. One question...how are the harmonics? I like getting Zakk-style pinch harmonics. Do you find them easy to achieve? To me, these sound better than EMGs, but they are both cool. I just prefer passive pickups, but wanna get nice pinch harmonics. Anyway...this guitar is on my radar. Or at least throwing the pickups in my Schecter Solo 6 (LP copy). I also like the fact that the guitar is chambered. I think that adds to the resonance and tone. And I like my neck pickup to be bluesy, so I'm wondering on the Dominion neck vs their 36th Anniv PAF. Thanks!
It's every channel damn near. I swear if you watch one video on guns it's total nonstop regurgitated nonsense. What is the name of the song your playing the guitar and drums are killer.
Excellent demo! I’m gonna go order a Dimarzio Dominion pickup now 😊
I actually gave up a musicman jp7 for this and no regrets

The silverburst is beautiful!!
Whats up man? Looks clean. I'm tired of all that people pushing themselves nonsense also it's a bit sickening after awhile

do the think the X series is worth it as opposed to the Pro?
