hi friend! bringing you another part of the little apartment makeover series. i didn't even realize it was becoming a series until this video, but now i want to decorate the rest of my apartment head to toe. i love how this one turned out. definitely focused more on my bathroom rather than the guest bathroom, but that will be a work in progress. what's important is the one i spend up to 3 hrs a day in is decorated to the max hehe

Glad to know I’m not the only one who has a ton of stuff to do, a WHOLE day to get it done, and accomplishes absolutely nothing…. Then about an hour before I have to leave to do something else I suddenly have all the motivation in the world but no time to get it done lol.

Don’t 👏🏽 wash 👏🏽 your 👏🏽 towels 👏🏽 with 👏🏽 fabric 👏🏽 softener 👏🏽! It adds a waxy layer on top that prevents them from absorbing as much moisture, hence why they aren’t holding up well!

annika made me realize that it's okay not to be always loud and energetic in my vlogs, like I could just be relaxed and chill (because I am a bit shy on cam)

Someone told me once to twice-bake homemade granola, once to dry it out & a second time to get desired levels of toasty & it was such a game changer for me! Hope the shop update went well ❤

Since you said your towels aren't lasting or holding up - consider how you wash them! I'm not sure if you use dryer sheets, but if you do you should stop because that's one thing that causes things like towels to not hold up well. Dryer sheets coat the garment/towel in a film, causing it to lose its ability to absorb. Dryer sheets and fabric softener in general are just really bad for laundry, so I recommend people to stop using them. You can use something like wool dryer balls instead! And whenever possible, air drying your clothes and using as little heat as possible will help extend the life of your clothes.
