Seems strange to me that the ten band does not just control the same frequencies as the six band plus four more. There are bigger gaps between frequencies, and I would rather have controls for 100, 200, 400, 800, and 3.2 than the frequencies available on the 10 band.
I bought a 6 band then canceled and ordered the 10 band. In this video I can hear they are close but the 10 band just give a little more to the sound I can hear. Plus knowing me I would be pissed I didn’t get the 10 band eventually. So figured I’ll just pull the trigger

I hear ya. For acoustic instruments, I find use for the extended upper range of the 10

I always run to a pretty clean amp so it was never an issue
