Both ML & FL compliments each other Love them in each of their individual work Especially Amidst the Snowstorm of Love Maiden Holmes The Story of Kunning Palace
And no 100 yr old vampire hitting on a blind virginal preteen attempting to change what a vampire has always been fictionally and trying to make him a sex symbol without actually showing him biting her with his fangs. Or Zhao Lusi in Dating in the Kitchen where she’s playing her babydoll character to an older man but somehow acts very mature at the end. Very forgettable.
The intro and the ending song both are just too perfect to skip! The casting is absolutely gorgeous. Really loved the moment where she freely danced around 🌷
I like how husband and wife are enemies. Both came back to the past and they BOTH KNOW ABOUT IT. Will be interesting if misunderstanding and seed of discord were planted btwn them. Another story of kunning palace 2.0?
I got bored while waiting for EP 31-32 so Im rewatching this. How could he not hate Li Rong even after this!? 😭 He truly believes she cannot kill him as he trusts her despite all the misunderstanding they've had for years. If only a man like this exists🥹
I am here after watching two times A Tale of Rosie...❤ Such an amazing drama that was... story line acting is superb.....We can feel it each and every situation....That drama gets interesting from episode 3 onwards...you should definitely watch it.....its an inspectional story ❤❤
This drama is so cute! It's really cute to see how the ML slowly breaks down the barriers that the FL has put up to protect her heart. Both leads in their second life communicated and worked to maintain their relationship and with each argument their relationship only got stronger. I recommend this 100% 🤣

No spoilers, but she really is a strong character here, which I really enjoy seeing her diversity and I think historicals allows actors and actresses more opportunities to show different aspects to a character.

Like she has a baby face and mature face depending on the makeup and I think she can pull off the seriousness, calmness, magnificence and “you are all beneath me” vibe of shen miao. It’s just that her character here is a bit more childish and spoilt, naive so she shows more deep emotions but shen miao is the type that got hurt so bad, she’s done crying and nothing shows on her face anymore unless it’s satisfaction from successfully ruining the people who ruined her. I can see her pulling that off if her character was written more to be like that. She shows a bit of that vibe from time to time. I can perfectly see Zhao jinmai as shen miao when she’s drunk tho ❤️❤️

Aaaaand that same guy played an antagonist in princess wei young so he def could pull off his ruthlessness and badassery. I actually didn’t recognize him at first cause when I was watching jun jiu ling I was like, why is this guy so familiar… and someone pointed out in the comments how diff his character was from princess weiyoung and i was like… HOLEEESHRET! THAT WAS HIM?!!!!!? He was such a punchable face in that one and so fluffy in jun jiu ling! Isn’t that xie jing xing? Punchable face in one moment, shameless fluff machine the next?

Thats why her marriage candidates are either scholars, not titled, or lives near the boarder. If his daughter marries another noble, her maternal clan will be too powerful, only care about their own personal gains and not care for his subjects.
Sometimes I think that a well-written romantic historical brings out the actor’s and actress’s acting abilities and diversity more than just being in a modern drama. Much of these Asian modern day dramas have characters that are one dimensional and cliche with an abundance of stereotypical behaviors. And don’t even talk about the younger rom/coms where everyone acts and plays juvenile schemes and are immature all the way until the last episode.
