[The Double 墨雨云间] This drama tells the story of Xue Fangfei, the daughter of a well-off county magistrate who lost everything after a major upheaval. Yes I rooted for zhen Zhang in that drama bt bai lu betrayed him in the end by choosing another person immediately after making him fall in love with her
Actually he was the best actor in the story of Kunning palace, even though he had a small role. Zhang Linghe is eye candy, but his acting depth isn't that great. Bailu is better but a lot of her movements seem to be exaggerated and unnatural. I don't know if this is an actor or director issue that they have to see the costumes and hair laid out neatly. If people are in freezing water, why are their clothes dry when they get out and they are not shivering?

So far, the story is really good! It's just the beginning but so much has happened already! Too bad, chao yue has just a little bit of cameo, she gave me a chill w/ her acting and cuteness! Oh gosh, you will have fun watching this show. I binge watched this and I just finished ep 34. I can’t get enough. I want more. It’s crazy good scriptwriting, and the main leads are really good with slow but smooth chemistry. I guess I am a big fan of very smart female leads. She is one of those.

i just finished watching all ep 40. it was happy ending i guess but i need season 2 for more love story. this all ep was all about revenge so it will be great for next season with happy moments for all them. i am sad that some of them died during the war scenes. sorry for spoiler haha but i really enjoy this drama and duke really fit the main character here compare to others drama. all the actors did their job so well in this drama. i recommend you to watch this
