I talk about my experience, as an example of one of the ways lawyers starting out can proceed.

Absolutely, it makes a lot of difference. This point only a practicing advocate can understand. Others would term it as, "just an excuse to hide your incompetence".

Do you look into U.P. cases? My mother is fighting a case against my father's family for 20 years now for her jewellery and her part in the property of my father who died due to cancer in 1999. Since then, the case is going and still she has to go to court. I have already lost hope but she still wants to keep going. She told she won once but the Father's side challenged again.

I recently joined a senior lawyer's chamber. His sons are also lawyer. The problem is he makes me do petty works like he asks me to get some documents xerox, or type dictations, or search for files. And this is all I am doing. What should I do. Should I leave the firm or should I continue and try to tackle the problem ? If I leave the firm , I may offend them and the problem is I will have to face th everyday in court.

Sir Can You please also suggest How to set a strong base for long term successful career in litigation
I.e. it is either starting from the lower courts or directly from the high courts by spending minimum time in disctrict courts as I have heard shifting from lower courts to high courts also is a huge shift in your career as by that time you have to start from the scratch and again create your goodwill in the new space.
Thank You so much for your meaningful Guidance to us. And I hope
to receive your humble response sir. @Amishaggarwala
