- Hi my name is Tash, I’m a knitter and crochet base in the West Midlands in the UK.
I have been knitting for around 19 years now, crocheting for just over 9 and I’m part of the amazing TOFT team which is how I leant to crochet and became Natasha the Toed Sloth.
In March 2025 I’ll be walking the the Sahara Desert to raise money for Birmingham Children's Hospital. My nephew Teddy has been under their care since he was been born, he has a super rare heart condition, and by doing this prize draw I'll hopefully be able to to give something back and say thank you.
So as I'm a knitter, crocheter and part of an absolutely amazing woolly community I thought a woolly prize draw would be super exciting. I've teamed up with some beautiful UK independents in the woolly industry to curate a stunning collection of treats, from yarn, kits, bags and notions.
The draw has five options, each option has an entry amount that you can chose from and by entering you will be in with a chance of winning one of 20 prizes. If more than one of your entry numbers come up, that is 100% ok, you just win another prize and the draw is international.

Another Humans of West Knits! So glad to see Natasha again, and of course, love TOFT, always a pleasure. Love the idea of one craft being a hobby and the other as "work". It really helped me frame my business objectives too.
What a wonderful way to give back and support this hospital although walking in the Sahara Desert is certainly a courageous feat. Wishing her great success on her journey.
