Is there a flow meter to give a reading for boat owners to guage if they can clear at the dam gate? I guess these boat operators are using their "feel" to make the decision. Try to use technology to make things easier.

Is there only one channel to go through? There are water lilies on the other side of the channel which show water is not flowing there. Maybe bridge management can open a few channels to distribute water flow thereby reducing pressure on the only channel.. i may be wrong
