which makes Breaking Out the end as Piri doesn't really end things. So if you want an actual ending to the story, just see it as Breaking Out is the ending of the nightmare arc. ;)

If I remember correctly, she also managed to keep for herself the pants she wore in the "Piri" MV. 😆 The piri is some kind of flute with a more nasal tone. And you nailed it for both comments on Dreamcatcher main track sound evolution and on the theory of this MV (which is still quite open for interpretation). Looking forward to your reactions for "Breaking Out" and "No More" (the comeback on the 20th which is still without Handong). And also "Endless Night" their second Japanese release early this year (unfortunately, they could not perform it in Japan because of the pandemic situation). Also as you are full fledged InSomnias now, you should check their B-sides especially "Full Moon" and "Over the Sky" as they are anniversary songs dedicated to the fans. I think the grainy filter you mentioned is a good desrciption. And ye, I do feel like their recent songs are more pop-y. They are very good, but I'm hoping they sometime do a song like Chase Me or What again :) And yea, you had asked in a previous video why JiU did that hand movement when she said "pi-li-li-li" (she was imitating what Gahyeon does at 3:36). Piri is like a korean flute, but it sounds more like the child of a bagpipe with a kazoo. It sounds a lot like that sound at the beggining (2:22) but higher pitch, so maybe it's a bit edited for the song. In the rest of the song I think it's a normal flute playing. If I'm not mistaken you should have listened to all maintracks, so I'm excited to see you react to their b-sides, because I honestly haven't listened to many yet, so it's surprise time :D

The whistling theme used in the song is not original. The theme is from an instrumental song that I cannot find, but is on UA-cam. A number of K-Pop artists have used it. Look at the song What's Problem by the boy band Teen Top issued April 2017.

Well for now the new japanese comeback, and the Breaking Out... Not sure what we'll look at next. To be determined!! :) That's good that she's more comfortable with dresses now, but that she has the option of pants when she wants! It helps differentiate her for new insomnias haha

@@kimsnaps Yeah Siyeon is one of the easiest to spot from the outset. For us the trickiest was Jiu, Yohyeon and Handong depending on styling/camera angles. Haha has Sua stolen Siyeon's pants domain? We've noticed that Sua seems to wear a lot of shorts when performing.
Breaking out not a continuation of Piri but it’s another happier ending Siyeon love’s pants it’s her thing we don’t see her in skirts or dresses often she just feel more comfortable in them
