Very pretty. Shellac is great and available as flakes in many shades. I have a 1930's oak roll top desk that I am cleaning up. It was originally shellac and then someone put a coat of dark shellac over parts of that. I was very happy when a paper towel and denatured alcohol took it off. I may go crazy and French polish it when done.
I should have known better when I tried to burnish the shellac in the first place. I ordered shellac flakes, but after amazon delivered it, it sat on my front porch for an hour or two in the AZ heat. I ended up with a shellac blob instead of flakes...
Beuatiful drum! I really enjoy watching your videos as I always learn something. I really like your outside and inside rounding jigs. Wish I had the time and money to build them. I'll just stick to what I have, it works well. DNH Drums
" stick" to what I have... I hope that was an intentional pun. I am what you get when cross a drummer, woodworker, computer geek, and inventor. It took a lot of time, and trail & error to build that CNC machine, but actually I did for around 1K (if you don't include many $$$ for my labor).

You can use modeling clay for your your epoxy damns. You can peel it off and reuse it. I use it in mold making.
A-new-be-iss was how I was always told to pronounce it
I'm sure you are right, but I am also sure I will forget by the next time I need to say it correctly.
