Omg Kendrick is my favorite artist. His last album literally convinced me to start therapy! I cannot believe you are reacting to him 😭😭😭 FULL FUCKING CIRCLE.
U should especially if u a Man.. Man emotion always been neglected
How has it been, I tried therapy but it seemed the therapist didn’t actually care at all
@@hlogilehlogonolo5438study which therapist and what type of therapy would be the best for you, last time I was in therapy it didn’t work for me I was in groups. I wanna try again at a new place and something more private. Honestly if it doesn’t work the first time there’s always a second don’t give up.
OMG react to kendricks meet the grahams they took all the copyright off so people could react its super interesting
I thought Kirk was about to comment on the Kendrick/Drake beef and I got excited 😂
😂
This song is more important, than a rap beef.. but I understand your enthusiasm
@@willdavis3951 Relax. He already reacted to this song with Berto when the album came out, but I guess he forgot
same 😂😂😂
@@abandonablesnowman oh sorry I was uninformed
As someone who JUST got 2 months sober, I’m so fricking happy you’re doing this! I love Kendrick and love your input, Dr. H, thank you! ❤
Congrats!!
@@kokorosyume thank you so very much 🥰
ooooo lets goooo!
My sister & I listen to Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers all the time when we go on long trips. It always gets us reflecting on our own family's generational trauma, reaffirming our actions / boundaries that break that cycle, & the healing we have done. The album really is a helpful exercise in untangling the web around our trauma & identifying the cycles throughout the generations of our family.
So cool you are reviewing it!
As a Day 1 Kendrick Lamar fan, this album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers is his most introspective. He took a 4 year break before he released this (2018 was the prior album). Kendrick has almost 20 Grammy's and is a Pulitzer Prize winning Artist for his conscious, thought provoking rap lyrics🔥
Id love for you to react to the full album. United in Grief, Count Me Out , Crown , (The channel guardi has a music video to go with Crown and its soo soo moving). Aunties Diaries, Father Time, Mirror. The whole album is a masterpiece. Hes talking to a therapist in his Count Me Out music video but its not the full song.
This is really Kendrick’s time. Not therapists listening to! Soon he’ll be singing OVHoe with the rest of us
This killed me 🤣🤣🤣
Yay! I am so excited! I am one of the people who requested/suggested this song! I’m happy to imagine the song while listening to your analysis!
Appreciate that you still tried making this reaction with all the challenges you experienced ❤
Now THIS is interesting!
Ooohhh hell yeah, Dr Kirk!!❤
This is a legendary crossover, Kendrick is the greatest artist of his generation and possibly all time. His music has so much depth and has the ability to help others heal. Very glad Dr. Honda took time to listen to this.
Well this is a collaboration of two people I listen to a lot I NEVER EFFING EXPECTED. Dr Honda - “count me out” from the same album, is a video he did that is a therapy session with Helen Mirin.
Look into Kendrick. Fascinating guy. Won a Pulitzer Prize.
Kendrick has been my favorite artist since 2009 and you’ve been one of my fav UA-camrs for a few years now. I can’t believe this is happening!! May I suggest auntie diaries next? Hehe🤭
If you want to react to more music, the ‘Girl so confusing remix with Lorde’ by Charli XCX is such a good song about the complexities of female relationships.
I remember you and Berto reviewed this song and album years ago when it first came out. Now I’m seconding guessing that was real bc you seem to have forgotten😂
Right?? I’m like, I specifically remember you covering this exact song, and I think a couple others from Mr. Morale
Oh man, you’re on a roll! You’re reacting to sister wives AND Kendrick Lamar?!? 😮🎉
Totally heartbreaking song, but there's Healing and there's Hope. The ending is just perfect😭Kendrick Lamar is a genius. Thank you, Doc💝🙏
This may be the video that pushes me to membership. Really interested in your full take🤔
Do Sean Strickland interview with Theo Von in which Sean opens up about his abusive father and cracks emotionally while Theo gives him one of best corrective experiences I saw in mainstream tv
I love my favorite things converging with psychology in seattle: sisterwives commentary, kendrick lamar music analysis, etc ❤
You're doing a music reaction!! You've got to check out "Hi Ren" by Ren.
Dr. Honda and K Dot…. Hell yes! It would be great to get a full album review.
Love that you are covering this!! Yes!!!
The musical commentary (Portishead love and harmony memories) in addition to the discussion of how trauma continues to impact us for so long afterwards and all the ways it can color our views of the world without necessarily realizing it and the whole journey.
“Insecurities that I project…” That’s an interesting line.
When you and Berto briefly discussed the album over a year ago, I was hungry for more of Dr Hondas take on it! So happy to see the deserving listeners share this interest!
Such a powerful song and I love Kendrick Lamar's music so much. He's such an amazing lyricist.
bruh what? friggin kdot on psychology in seattle? dr kirk got one for the hood 👏
I love this video idea.
Wow so unexpected
You may have been copywritten because of the version of the song you used. I have seen many others react to his origonal release with no issue. Think that is possible?
Wow! I can’t believe you finally did it! I asked for this video 2 years ago! 💕
You should also listen to Father Time and Auntie Diaries if even just on your own time.. the whole album is a masterpiece.
Your commentary on ImAlexxx situation would be insightful!
No. Way.
Would you react to neon gravestones or car radio, both very heavy mental health songs by twenty one pilots ❤
YAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love Portishead and Kendrick Lamar. Great video!
it was Kendricks old label in junction with a joint licensing between Portishheads, so i think that’s why you had problems with the song copyright. Regardless, i’m so glad i found this channel looking for a breakdown of this song!
Dr. Honda, pleaaaaaaaase watch Love is Blind Brazil season 4. I swear that YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!
I’d love to hear Dr Hondas take on Kendrick vs Drake.
My request for a one off video is the song "working on me" - by Russ
I have been ''coping'' with all my insecurities and shame with weed all these years, trying to numb myself. I'm too scared to feel everything sober and just of, what would happen. These make you feel understood for sure
ps: loooove your content ,thank you for educating us and helping us
you look very tired, are you ok?
This is my vinn diagram
Whitney is Kendrick's partner since high school. They have 2 kids together (boy/girl). Kendrick has a song on this same album where he admits and apologizes for sleeping with women, sleeping with white women. I forgot the name of it though.
Another song that made me cry unexpectedly was Headlights by Eminem.
OMGGGGGG I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!! WATCHING THIS AFTER THE GYM!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you God, thank you so much for inspiring this man into making this video.
OMG DO MEET THE GRAHAM NEXT!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
would love to see a reaction to "listen before i go" by billie eilish, one of my favorite songs by her and there's some psychological insight that could be gained from it
Idk why I read the thumbnail as “the rapist reacts” 💀💀😭😭
I’d be interested to hear the psychology of Wade Wilson
Ditch the beard. Makes you look old. You’re too cute for that
Smdh
Your profile picture is accurate. JA.
Please react to REN song "Hi Ren" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
