I agree with you. That sounded like a classic song from the 1960s. I was so impressed to hear she wrote it. If she can write songs like that, her career seems even more destined for stardom. I also thought she seemed more in control of her voice while singing and as a result, she sounded even better. A very impressive performance.
I watched the show last night just to see Courtney and she didn't disappoint. I wasn't familiar with the song also, and was shocked to learn that it was an original. She's awesome!

I was at Woodstock , Atlantic City rock festival & I was at Monterey rock and saw Janis Joplin., second time was at Atlantic City Rock Festival. Querky. She was signed by Syco/Avista shortly after last season. She is being professionally coached, she is now a model for Calvin Kliens, and they supply her wardrobe. The whole thing was a major production by her backers. Simon owns Syco. She will be doing her first album soon in Sweden. She is a real Professional rock star now as she finishes a tour with the Struts. Grats Courtney and may God stay with you. Happy to see it I knew it would not take long for this to happen.
