I had a school of 15 and I came to the following conclusion. The smallest ones are the first in because they need to catch up in growth because the smallest are the first to be eaten by the others if you skip a day of feeding. The little guys know they're expendable and therefore are willing to take a chance before the bigger ones. I was also surprised how skittish piranha are, I was never scared to clean them because they would hide as soon as you put your hand in the water. I lost two of the small ones to the rest of the school.
Maybe put a few house plants in front of the tank to make them feel more hidden in the front they may come out faster? Also maybe wait 2 days to feed them so they get more hungry? Not sure how often you feed them.
This just goes to show that piranhas aren’t bad. When they find a food item they take a nibble and if it isn’t good or it moves they lay off. They aren’t maneaters. They’re creatures that should be respected, as well as sharks
They’re attracted to blood and splashing. The head doesn’t matter. I’m most all types of fish the smaller ones eat or attack first, the older larger ones are usually more cautious especially with something they haven’t seen before. Cool tank I like what you have. Try shaking it at the top making it splash around, it would be hard to get a real bloody fish unless you caught it fresh and it would cloud your water Probably not worth it
Years ago I read an article about an aquarium in England. In one room they had several tanks of fish from "The Americas" One tank had 5 Trout and another right next to it had 5 piranha. One of the trout named "Tittles" was very aggressive and always fighting the other trout. One day he got all fired up and ended up jumping out of its' tank and right into the tank of piranha. Tittles ate all of the piranha.
If those piranhas are the same as most fish I caught like carp and other fish. Smaller and younger fish always go for things quicker. They're less cautious, they have to get bigger. If there isn't enough food they become food for the biggest fish.
You have to starve them first... It's like the same when you are trying to get rid of a body with pigs. You have not let them eat for a few days. Then you throw something into the tank like a dead fish or your little brother and boom! No more little brother.😊
Being eaten by Piranhas is a stock of B-grade jungle adventure flicks... but seeing how little a nip each fish takes, it would be a horrible way to die.
I went to purchase red belly at the aquarium shop and was told there pussys and said he has no problems putting his hand in there tank he put my red belly ina bag and then showed me the black piranha he said he will not put his hand in there tank by the time I went to pay for the red belly it had a heart attack and was dead so if you want aggressive go for the black piranha
Reason as to why this is has been mostly attributed to the fact that wild piranhas are a little more aggressive than this ones due to being in open water, however, it’s never like portrayed in movies.
Hello, could you try putting a fruit encased in meat into the tank, I am curious is they will continue eating it after they finish the meat. I am not sure is they can properly digest fruit so find some plant that they can eat
I wonder if the innards were left in would they have acted differently. And if it floated in the water a bit more instead of sinking. These fish are honestly mind boggling
FULL "30 Piranha VS" series: tinyurl.com/30piranha
I think you should call your piranhas the dirty 30 and name those 7 the lucky 7 lol

crazy how movies portray them huh 🤔
Pure waffling bru
Yeah I was thinking it had to do with them being smaller and needing to grow.
Damn crazy how alike humans and animals think.
Yeah no they might be fast and got teeth. But they are still fish and there a lot bigger fish than them. They like the vultures of aquaculture
That was honestly the most interesting result so far. I expected them to eventually try it out after realizing the trout was already dead
Very interesting videos i dunno why i just like watching them lol
Damn those tiny guys can take a monster bite.

Spot on👌
They started hiding more when i removed some logs from the tank where the white sand is. I will likely add them back in.
Piranhas are known to be very shy and they communicate with each other to see if they will do an attack on the object as they travel in schools.
is not that.. fish do not attack to targets that are bigger or similar side than them.
@@angellestat2730 But they bite humans.
@@nicolasoliveira4903 quite rare.. some times when they are defending their nest or when they feel surrounded.
This feels like sports commentary but for piranhas. Love it
From this day forward, they are now The Magnificent Seven
This just goes to show that piranhas aren’t bad. When they find a food item they take a nibble and if it isn’t good or it moves they lay off. They aren’t maneaters. They’re creatures that should be respected, as well as sharks
The piranhas after seeing the whole fish:
👁👄👁
Piranha are a lot more timid than I expected and it seems as if smell is not much of a factor when searching for food
Agreed, mine looks for movement
That's bc they are well fed. In the wild they're more aggressive bc the next meal is not guaranteed
learned something new today, thanks joey 😃
Is there anyway you could like tie something to a rope and hang it in their tank?? I think that would be super cool.
blood&struggle will always be a Trigger !
Always the smaller one with the most bottle
Amazing how they are just like a pack and attack once one of them attack it

You forgot the blood 😅 blood attracts piranha's attention 😅
Feed alive things,
Pick them with a needle, before you throw it in. There is more action, trust me
That's because u have nothing but small ones in that Tank hello 👋
No one likes to be watched whilst they're eating!
You said seven and twenty one still to come out that's 28 🤣
We used to feed ours plump leeches and they would go into a frenzy
Fun fact: Piranhas are not quiet hunters.. They're more of scavengers
The alpha female takes the first bite. If any of the others do, typically they would be bitten by the others.
Great video, I have piranha too lol

😳 that's a big bite!!!
A real monster trout
-uncut angling: giant lake trout!
What about a 3 inch trout💀
The littles aren’t the bravest… they’re the rookies who the bigger, older piranha’s force to sacrifice themselves.
Whole small fish. Maybe question if you know the species and their diet (and probably all other requirements.).get a dog
Why not just put a couple sharks in a tank life let them swimming around
You need to dump about 2 dozen goldfish in there if you want likes. Or a cat.
Uummmm.........DO NOT, confuse "bravery", with inexperience. Not know the dangers, makes ignorance seem like bravery.
Man they eat better than me
I had mr. noodle for lunch.
Plot Twist: *Piranhas are cowards*
for the love of God, it's pronounced "PIRAÑA" and it's written "PIRANHA"
Tell me you're Canadian without telling me you're Canadian. 😉
"monster" "14 inch" this how u get dislikes, lying and clickbaiting are different things
If those piranhas are the same as most fish I caught like carp and other fish. Smaller and younger fish always go for things quicker. They're less cautious, they have to get bigger. If there isn't enough food they become food for the biggest fish.
Bro they take CHUNKS out of that fish, every bite 😮😮😮😮😮
I thought you said 30? How does 7 out than 21 hopefully come out amount to 30??? 7 and 21 brings that up to 28 sir Lmao
Why do those look like pacu's. Not piranhas.......
Movies make piranha seem vicious af and will frenzie at anything, but they seem very skiddish
You have to starve them first... It's like the same when you are trying to get rid of a body with pigs. You have not let them eat for a few days. Then you throw something into the tank like a dead fish or your little brother and boom! No more little brother.😊

If its store bought they can smell the preservatives that get sprayed on seafood. You can't fish with store bought shrimp that's how i learned that.
They should make a music video where its a cyborg from the future watch then trying to capture a woman round new York in the style of the 80s
This changes my perspective on piranhas.
I used to think they are these scary invasive monsters.
Turns out they are just a bunch of cowards
“Only 7 are out only 21 more left to come out and eat” 7+21=28 someone is lying about the 30 piranhas or they can’t count lol😅🤣
They are a very skiddish fish....but once one or two discover its feeding time? They send out a mass tweet and its game time!!!
Give them Marijuana and put in a small watchman playing cheech and Chong
Wait, I thought piranas are cold blooded monching manchinem
In the Amazon maybe but you’re depriving them of their natural environment. So sad
I went to purchase red belly at the aquarium shop and was told there pussys and said he has no problems putting his hand in there tank he put my red belly ina bag and then showed me the black piranha he said he will not put his hand in there tank by the time I went to pay for the red belly it had a heart attack and was dead so if you want aggressive go for the black piranha
the little ones aren’t the bravest, they’re the least experienced 😅
Turn the lights out that thing would dissappear. Mine ate when the lights went out
Reason as to why this is has been mostly attributed to the fact that wild piranhas are a little more aggressive than this ones due to being in open water, however, it’s never like portrayed in movies.
yeah yeah. where's the footage of ya putting ya hand in there to retrieve the fish..

Bro said he got 30 of them, and also says 7 are out waiting for the other 21 GO BACK TO SCHOOL
Sit quiet next time and they give you what you want they’re shy fish only eat when they comfortable
The smaller are the braver, interesting. May mature affect on their daring? The older may act by reflexes and not dare in pro to survival
this might b a bad question, but wouldnt they like it better alive, or u acting like its alive..its no fun for a dead piece of meat.
I think why the big piranha didn't attack first Becouse they use the small ones if it's safe to eat or not like sacrifice always the matter
Sad to see any life in captivity . Their nature would be completely different in the wild
Actually the thing has to move to get them interested. I have seen a guy get into a tank of piranha and be still and nothing happened.
I saw this in a documentary what you supposed to do is sake it around in the water make it seem like it is still alive but struggling
I’m not sure how you or your followers would feel about this but don’t feed them for a month and then drop a a big chunk of something in there
"They are afraid of the eyes" Lets test this hypothesis, "lets paint eyes all over our bodies and take a dip in Piranha infested waters".
This is what I tell everyone when they are afraid that a fish will bite on them if they swim.. Fish do not bite things that are bigger than them.
For being a pretty small fish, they sure bite off a nice chunk...
Do you have a video agitating the water, simulating a distressed animal?
So does that mean if i person was to walk through their space they wouldnt bite them they would hide??
First of all it not moving and secondly there no blood so your Piranha are not interested
I bet they waited for you to keep the hand in the water a bit longer...:) They prefer fresh and alive food :)
No needs to be thrashing around and bloody that is the piranha's favorite thing
maybe try chucking in a human. usually works. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I missheard 4inch instead of 14 and I was about to throw hands for you calling that 4 inches
And suddenly I heard you say "Oout" and I knew you were from canada
I wonder how they react to clotted beef blood. Last time I went camping we used it and the catfish loved it
They're not the bravest. They just have the most to loose if they miss the meal.
Note to self, while swimming with piranhas, draw eyes on the jewels 😅
It must be uncomfortable to eat your food w constant water in your mouth
I was kind of waiting for the guy to stick his hand in the tank to retrieve the fish
It's funny how piranhas are so feared because some locals pulled a hoax on an explorer once
Put a rope on it and jiggle it like a hurt fish and they will go crazy
Scared of the eyes lol
I think they saw their friend 🥹😅🥲
Fish are friends, not food 😅
What happens if like you hold the fish that your trying to find them instead of dropping it down
It's because it's to big 2 smaller things wil be more easy like getting peaces
I think it depends, because I did the same thing with mine and they ate the whole thing!
Should of dropped an injured Trout in the tank! And it would of been a frenzy.
They not the bravest they’re just crash dummies 😂
The little ones are not the bravest. It's their job to do the poison detection 😌
So the movies been lying?😢 they dont eat something in less than 10 seconds?
Wow! I never knew how big their mouths were until I saw bite marks
Is it really 30 tho
