I recently got one and it's super fun to tinker around with. Many of the sounds aren't going to have much of a practical application, but a good amount of them are still pretty cool, and could foreseeably come in handy on stage, depending on what kind of music you are performing. Personally, I will say I found the pickup a bit glassy, pinched and piercing at times, so in all likelihood, if I was to use it at a gig, and especially on a recording of any kind, I'd probably swap it out for something a little more beefy, with some smoother, rounder and perhaps slightly warmer tones, as some of the effects can take the tone into some expansive treble harmonics that can be a bit off-putting at times with the stock pup, which limits your options. I can't see myself using the onboard distortion much, as it's just a bit too messy, and probably only useful with onboard headphone jack. A better pup will likely fix the effects/treble issue, but of course, as always, tone is very subjective. Can't see any reason to get rid of it, as it is very unique, and awfully fun mess around with. I will say it plays rather nicely, holds a tune well, jumbo frets, but no tuning issues with chording, and actually holds a tune rather well, so much so that I've taken to using it as my "sitting around watching TV" practice guitar much of the time. Overall, a very decent guitar value-wise, exceptionally fun, and definitely worth a look if you have a few bucks to spare and are looking for a new toy that really fills its own niche in a rather exceptional way for the price. Being someone who makes electronica and industrial in addition to standard guitar rock-type-stuff, I just love the thing.

Built I'm effects isn't entirely a new idea, but this seems pretty neat.
I know not new at all remember the Sears Catalog guitars they had the Top of the Line one lol it was an Explorer knock off w/like 6 FX buttons on board. I drooled over that guitar as a kid never got one...tho I did play one years ago, I came across one the FX were like 8 bit? garbage useless unless your Jack White then you might use it??? But yea that was ahead of it's time.
The only thngs I like are the RG body and the weathered black finish.

the item doesn't look like its in an ideal position, almost in the way if you wanna strum the guitar wide.
Personally I really like the idea of having the kaospad there.. but the guitar itself just looks really really really ugly imo... so a future model I might get if they figure out a way of making the pad look more integrated and do a more naturally looking finish, carved top and all those thing that I would like on a guitar :)

Watchman4u I don't blame Ibanez, that's Korg's fault, as I'm guessing their product handles all the digital stuff (ie distortion).
Really cant see the point of these effects, its doesn't produce any good guitar playing, it just makes cool noises, nothing useable in practice, not from whats shown in this demo anyway.
