Oh boy, I bet this comment section is going to be fun **sarcasm**. This is definitely "get off my lawn" territory. Honestly, there's nothing wrong with this guitar existing. If you don't like it, just turn and walk away, no big deal. No need for the "excuse my while I go puke" crap that's being posted. Personally, it's not something I'd ever own either, but I'm all for people trying new things in the guitar industry. It's not blasphemy, it's just trying something different. It's great that your vintage Strat or Les Paul sounds good, but when millions of others out there have the same damn sound, I think it's okay for someone to venture out and try something new. It's not causing you any personal distress (if it is, then go seek help), so just cool it. And honestly that demo track at 3:14 sounded really cool.
For $400.00 ...i want one! ,..i saw juliette valdurez play something similar on a les Paul Jr. ,,but this (it seems) doesn't need any computer accessories. .a Real artistic creative expression tool, ...i LIKE!
You made a great use of it in the little song at the end of the video. I think it would be much better if it could be controlled by an expression pedal. (or maybe you already can?)
Henrik Petersson You're right, it would be better as a floor unit. I don't like the idea of having to mess this thing while playing with my picking hand. It draws back from the playing.
Nah, it's certainly not for everyone. But it's not much unlike using a vibrato or the tone/volume knobs for effects really. An expression pedal doesn't offer the same kind of control as an X/Y pad does. Personally I don't care much for it, but I can certainly see it hit home with some people.
I have one. It's built in distortion circuitry is awesome.... Don't put thick strings on it. Built quality is flimsy It's an experiment guitar. I fkn love mine.
Matt bellmay actually just has a midi touchpad so anything that can be controlled by midi can be controlled by it. For example everything from lights to flanges.
Yeah it can control midi, so you can use it for literally any kind of effect. It's hard to go from playing regular guitar to something like this, it's really kind of it's own instrument in itself.
***** Exactly. Judging it's tone by what Michael can do is a bit of a misinformed opinion. He's a great guitarist, but it's like handing a guitar player a chinese dulcimer and saying 'Here, you should be able to play this, it has strings'. You might make a noise, you might make some cool music, but you probably won't be using it to it's potential without hours of practice dedicated to the unique sounds of THAT specific instrument.
TimothyPage06 Yeah gotta fully agree there, and as someone who knows muse extremely well (and has seem them live) Matt definitely has the less is more thought and its not a gimmick for them but more an extra dimension to their sound.
A cool gimmick, but they didn't have to chop 1/8 of the guitar off to fit it in. Looks like Ibanez feel slightly threatened by Livid's guitar wing and this is their response.
Most keyboards have all these functions but I only ever use reverb compressor overdrive and delay. Now they are only more useless because you can't really play guitar with one hand.

Guys it's basically a digital whammy bar you're not supposed to use it while playing but like a whammy bar with practice you can
And a filter apparently
It sounds incredible.
My question will be;
how hard to use can it be?
Good for industrial guitar players
03:57 Awesome track in the end
You made a great use of it in the little song at the end of the video.

Wouldn't the defeat the purpose of having it on the guitar? You could just as we'll have a floor pedal.

Henrik Petersson I honestly "heard only one axis" of this pad, like it didn't really use them both.
Henrik Petersson That's it. I want a toe-controlled X/Y pad.
I have one.

That’s a dual rail mini humbucker, not a stacked. A stacked humbucker is when there are 2 regular single coil pickups but one is under the other
great guitar!. i think i should have one than i should tried so hard find Manson MB-1
Isn't that exact thing was fitted to some of the guitars of Matthew Bellamy? No wonder it didn't catch up, sounds pretty nasty and unnecessary.
Matt bellmay actually just has a midi touchpad so anything that can be controlled by midi can be controlled by it. For example everything from lights to flanges.

Matt Bellamy is really the only one who has mastered it and uses it in context

Gonna build one with the kaoss pad, it’s a good guitar but bad mats
perfect to compose the new mortal kombat game soundtrack....^_^
I looks like it would make recording A LOT easier.

Очень интересно !!
I can't think of anything constructive to say about that.
Fire away traditionalists...
toy...
I liked it better the first time around... when it was called a keyboard

Awful sound.
BRB , I wanna puke ...
How about you just kick yourself out of UA-cam after?
