Thanks for all the vids and info. Love the content. Quick question: my layout is 55x4.5x30 and I want more length, would you increase the drill angle or pin-pap?
Was it just me or is this an odd set of balls to compare? Chill pearl has waay lower RG and much higher diff than the Blue Fire, and the Endeavour is still a decent bit stronger. The tundra was always going to look weak against those 2 especially standing that far left and on a pattern that long, regardless of it being a bit fried…. Maybe Gootz wasn’t the right bowler for this comparison… He’s got the physical grunt to throw a stronger piece here and it have the power to cover that many boards…. The Tundra is a 2.561 and a 0.030 and given the low diff and high RG, the Tundra isn’t ideal to corner that hard and keep power in the pocket, even with Gootz speed and revs. Would have been much more interesting to see Barks throw this, looks like it would’ve suited his style more in the expected condition. As for dry lanes, I’m still using my mighty Joy Ride, although at a few hundred games and nearly 10 years old, it’s getting on a bit.
“Perfect time for sym pearls” - Why? I feel like statements like this just confuse viewers. Not all pearl covers are the same strength, and symmetric differentials can vary wildly. And why is a sym better than an asym in this scenario? Again, not all cores are equal.
Best dry lane ball for me is the Intel Pearl SE.. was much better than the red Tundra Fire. Although a lane shined Counter Attack Solid is pretty good on the dry too..
For me on the burn on the old wood I use purple Pearl urethane hammer, old faball enterprises blue Pearl urethane hammer, sanded plastic ball, or my overseas ebi magenta urethane hammer and the overseas red pearl urethane asymmetric hammer.
On a burned up lane it’s plastic then packing up to go home
My current burn ball is the Motiv Venom Shock.
Fun & informative vid, thank you Gootz & JR Proshop.
I like my Juke or Captiv8 for iffy conditions; maybe a Pitch Blue 😊

All I had was dry lanes when I was young so I just bowl normally 🤣

I'd go with the Brunswick Infinity or the Track Theorem on most lanes. Maybe occasionally the Brunswick Rhino.
When the lanes I burnt up I either switch to my Xponent Pearl or change my hand position (changing my axis rotation putting more forward roll into it)
Depending on what bag with me either the crypto boom or the Dv8 captiv8 or the Hustle Rip

The three best balls for me on burnt lanes are the Track Tundra Fire (the red one), Hammer Envy Tour Pearl, and the Hammer Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid.
On the burn, I go plastic with a core…with that being said, nice bowling.
On the burn currently in my bag is the Top Thrill Pearl (Blue & Green).
Widow 2.0 has been my ball of choice for the burn
lets say love the storm revenant and after going for a small block ball like an hustle wine !
Cool video talk tech bowling ball Jr pro shop
I usually go to either the violent collision or the theorem
The night road😍
Still trying to find my burn ball😅 any suggestions?? I have a rev of about 420, throw about 16mph. Very high friction house
The spy
ebonite fireball
Blue or red Tundra is probably your best choice unless you have another brand you prefer.
