It doesn't even look bad at all. Maybe the headlights shape and how the frontal of the car adapts them is what ruins it, but give it some Alfa-Romeo (for the sake of italianism) looking lights and I think you would get a very appealing car

Not to mention, despite being paired with a sluggish automatic, it's hard to deny a 0-60 of 5.8sec in a car in that era was extremely quick and still average of a good number of performance cars in the 30k price point today.

I was about 11 when I first saw a lancia thesis. I was going from school to a bus stop and it drove past me and I was just stunned by its looks. I have never seen ine, which was something I liked since I knew all the common cars in my area. I came home and started googling and I tried to find out what model it was but I didn't. Then about 1 week later I've seen it parked near the same bus stop, it was painted in some kind of purple-black colour. I took pictures and immidiately looked it up online. Since then it had always made my day when I saw it. It was about 5 years ago and I attend a different scool now but I like to look back at my 12 year old self just being fascinated by that design. It will always have a special place in my heart.
idk why, but the Thesis looks very sexy to me. Also the FJ cruiser is far from ugly. Looks quite nice. And PT's stigma is more of a reliability and build quality thing rather than looks.
Wonder why the FJ Cruiser was never put on the European market? Suzuki is doing it here with the Jimney which is a true offroader but with very poor success. The ridiculously expensive Land Cruiser on the other hand are a very common sight.

I'm 5 feet 7 inches tall and the FJ is just a midsize SUV. If you add some wide flairings, change the shocks, put on larger and wider tires with the use of off-set rims, them it will be big. But if you compare my height to a standard FJ, it's not big.
People love ripping on the PT Cruiser. Retired my 2002 last year at 262,000. Replaced it with a Limited Edition of the same year and much fewer miles. It hauls all my drums or my canoe and camping gear. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The HHR is ugly in MHOP.
Well in case of PT cruiser it depends on bumpers and paint. Red cruiser with unpainted bumper looks ugly, and they are very common in US. However in Europe there are more pts with painted bumpers, which way look better. Especially with blue patriot dark blue color and GT version wheels - then it's not ugly
Prowler failed cuz of simple desing mistakes and lack of a V8. They couldnt put a V8 under the hood because Chrysler didnt have a good candidate V8 for sports car use. If the same program was launched today, they would stick a 392 HEMI or a Hellcat under the hood and it would sell like crazy.
I know that Chrysler is on the decline, but I feel that the Pacifica, as well as the 300 in some senses, are also sales successes, well, the Pacifica for sure

The Lancia was quite a brave design.Such a shame as a brand its almost dead.Fiat have mismanaged Lancia on an epic scale,all that history and heritage all down the drain.Lancia deserved so much better...
That's because it was based on the FJ. Lots of GTA vehicles are (either directly or loosely) based on real life counterparts. Check the GTA V page on IGCD, it lists what each one is based on.
