I completely forgot to tell you about these little 'handles' on the front and back of the lid. They are purely decorative. The whole thing cost me about less than 200 Euros or 215 USD (including the shroud) and it took two weeks to make, with most of the time waiting for these plastic parts. I did it in 4 stages. You'll see the next project with it this year (if all is well of course). Thanks for watching and if you want you can become a member of the channel and have instant access to some additional footage and whatnot. Those cheap plastic slippery shoes landed in the trash after that video because they almost killed me numerous times and that was the last straw. Thanks for watching!
The craziest youtuber ever in positive way.Such great and educational content and we all have to admit that we for sure had toughts about all those graveyard things and stuff but no one had anybody who works there to ask for details or we were scared to dig deaper into the subject.
That's the whole point of this channel since it became Martin's Graveyard. I refuse to be sad or scared because Death is as natural as breathing and there's no need to be scared or sad because we are all going to die eventualy. I think that I have a unique view on those things because I'm an artist and a 'crazy' person on top of being an undertaker. A lot of people hate me for being so happy in my videos but that's not my problem. Thanks for the kind words 😊
I admire your creativity and energy! There has to be something you can conjure up for those of us who have planned for a direct cremation (without viewing) to give the sendoff a "Martin Touch".
That looked like a lot of fun to do that project. Thanks for showing us. The handles coming off reminded me. The last time I was a pallbearer, when we got to the cemetery the other five guys got the order mixed up and four of them got on one side leaving me, a little guy, and one other on the right side. We almost dropped her. We stumbled, or maybe it was just me and the other guy on our side. The director caught the flowers that fell off the top.
One time, we had a man shipped from Belgium and the casket handles were weirdly short, meaning that you couldn't slide your whole hand to have a nice firm grip and you could only grip them with your fingers alone. There wasn't enough space between the handle and the wall of the casket. We didn't check the weight before the ceremony and when it came to pick the casket up in the chapel in front of 200 people we were in shock how weird the handles were and how heavy the casket was. Almost dropped him then.
the pine boxes for cremation are way simpler than the ones used for burial. that does look oddly comfortable. For one thing I'll never fall out of bed again. No need to apologize for dirty nails ;D
I'd hire you to do my funeral if you weren't so far away. There's no need to apologize for your dirty nails. They are the ensignia of the working craftsman and emblematic of his passion, pride and craftsmanship that he puts into his work. Keep up the good work sir! 😁👍
Good job Martin Can only imagine the mark up on the expensive coffins They both do the same job Although knowing me if i had that coffin i would end up packing some things I'd want to take with me!!!
The mark ups are crazy sometimes and are often based on nothing else than greed. Speaking of taking things with you, I've seen a man with a whole Warhammer 40K army in the casket.
Hello I’m from California USA and came upon s few of your videos and love the videos your doing awesome. I’m a huge fan of the funeral industry except for the high prices of caskets and funeral services. It’s ridiculous. And I absolutely love hearses because they just look only the ones here in the USA. I’m not a fan of the kind of hearses in Europe because that just look like station wagons. A hearse need the landau Bars and curtains .

Sweet dance moves! "Coffin Bop", might be a good song name!
worthy of a dracula😅 good job Martin😊
This is the coffin I want when I die. ⚰🪦
Loved the way those brass tacks/nails embedded into the red fabric made such an enormous difference...great job!!!🎉
Thanks so much! 😊
If I'm to be put in a casket when I'm done THAT is definitely what I will instruct them to use, before cremation. Looks great! Nice job! 😎👍

@1kinnakeeter It's been a month, and I still have no idea what that touch could be. Maybe it'll come to me someday. Thanks for the kind words.
Pure Madness Martin. 👍
Just wait for my next one 😉
Hi Martin, I saw your comments on another channel and was curious. I look forward to watch your videos.

That was awesome Martin! You did a great job on that. Someone would buy that I am sure!
Thanks! Hope that you'll get to see the final project with it.
Finally - my favorite UA-camr!!
Nice!

@@MartinsGraveyard wow 👌
👍
It looks nice, but is it comfortable for long term rests?
I don't know but I will see about that soon.
Dracula would love this
Unfortunately you will never get feed back from using the sawdust filled pillow from your clients, well hopefully.
Whats the point of wasting woods when u cud bury without it .

Can you do a cost comparison, the cost to buy this basic wooden coffin compared to your pimped out version.
It's four times cheaper than the usual one, but it's hard to pinpoint the actual value because it's subjective.
Keep on accidentally sliding on the floor with those shoes and eventually you will need that coffin. *wink*
They landed in the trash after that from that exact reason. I won't push my luck anymore and will never buy such cheap plastic shoes ever again.
I sub 🎉 !!!
Thanks!
