I listen to my serials while eating cereal, while listening to the serial podcast. I think I'm a serial listener to Akros!!! But for serious The serials to me are fa6. I only own the Dunu Falcon Ultras and I just purchased the serials . For me the difference is, Serial it's not overly technical it just does what it does , and what it does is it just plays music and it plays it fantastic. at low volume mid volume I don't take it to high volume cuz it'll blow me ears up, it just sounds good. I am a metal head I listen to metal music little bit of opera, once in a great while some country music, funk music I like funk and it just plays them all so well I don't even put my Dunu's in anymore cuz I'm listening to these. so I personally love the crap out of them

As far as cables and whether they make a difference I'm going to give you an analogy okay. Take a water hose fill a water hose with rocks turn the water on what do you get out of it A sputter not a very clean stream. Take a regular water hose turn it on what do you get a strong clean stream. If the cable you are using is not made of a good ferrous material and it's not made of a material that transmit electrical impulses cleanly you won't get a clean and response it just that's just the dynamics of electricity it's just the way it is so now are there some issues with how good of a response you get out of it Yes most definitely is it perceptible what you get out of it maybe maybe not I think it would depend on the earphones that you have in and their fidelity but I can say without a doubt if you have a shitty cable you will get some shitty signal you'll get signal degradation you'll get interruptions hiccups pops whatever if you have a good cable with great material that signal travels freely and easy through it Sorry for lack of punctuation, I use text to type, I have to I have a physical reason for doing it and it's just for whatever reason not picking up punctuation. so again I apologize
