I love this “ to not speak up is to give consent to a violent act” it’s almost like playing part in destroying a person in killing a person.when u could have helped to make some one live by not following the crowd. By speaking up!!!
Which is why the black church should start educating black young men and women to stop resisting arrest when accustommed by the police. Its time for black leaders to start saying the truth , CRIME DOES NOT PAY. Run away from crime, be responsible, respect yourself and respect authority, read books and most especially pray always... The black leaders should start condemning evil , imagine praising a criminal because he was shoot by the police. Its insane honestly. What a shame. I am a Nigerian, and in Nigeria if you resist arrest, or try to fight a police officer , you will be shot , its as simple as that So this magnifying of criminal elements in the black community because he or she was shot dead by the police is evil. Lets call a spade a spade...
Black churches shouldn’t have to teach black men to stop resisting. When a man does a crime he should be able to admit to it but way too many times we see the men who have done nothing wrong get pulled over and brutalized and treated less than a human because of the color of their skin or because of how he speaks, dress, or look. The system has tremendously failed us. So I would say it all depends on the situation because I have seen many videos where men did not resist, did not commit a crime and was still arrested or targeted.
We live in the time where just because you moved into a community because of your color without doing any type of crimes or evil to anyone. You could end up as a target you could end up as a criminal and lose opportunities or even life over things you know not. Just because you weren’t wanted in the community you moved into. Way too many times we see these type of things happening people will utilize the police system to take out individuals. By building cases on lies and deceit.
The church can do so much to give people the lessons on how to live but most people now a days only go to church for recognition or to say they did it. They don’t commit to Gods laws, and most are only holy on Sundays. The main issues we are facing is that people are easily led to believe lies if they are on social media and people have become more evil and careless over time. Everyone has a I only care about myself attitude. All current issues are made by the people a better tomorrow can only come based off change.. we need to stop creating mobs of hate and start creating groups of faith.
Oh yes! It adds such depth and layers to the Word that would have otherwise been overlooked and points to the significance of the scripture, making it more meaningful and applicable

Great teaching! What I see is a correlation between Biblical history & today. Where people think that they're doing God's work but really evil instead. Thank God for the blood of Jesus that can correct the wrong. To figure the wrong, follow the scriptures on love. The word of God doesn't contradict itself.

Beautiful message! We have to be able to see and identify our own darkness. God has to allow us to see our capacity as humans to create evil. We must be allowed to know how humans can be cruel. WE ALL have the capacity to allow A MONSTER to arise within us. If we are truthful within ourselves. Our purpose on this earth is to arise from that evil within us and choose righteousness by Putting away the sinful man and allowing God’s spirit to reign. We each must make that choice to free ourselves by allowing the Spirit of truth whom took upon him the sins of the earth to raise us from our ashes. The presentation on the transformation from Saul to Paul would have been much more relatable if it were a Black Man with Tattoos, playing a former gang member, and gave his life to Christ on the way to Damascus. You often hear of men going to prison and converting to Islam while incarcerated. But when have you ever seen the story told of the men who find Christ while incarcerated and go hard for God, like the Muslims do for Allah?

We have to be able to see and identify our own darkness. God has to allow us to see our capacity as humans to create evil. We must be allowed to know how humans can be cruel.
WE ALL have the capacity to allow A MONSTER to arise within us. If we are truthful within ourselves. Our purpose on this earth is to arise from that evil within us and choose righteousness by Putting away the sinful man and allowing God’s spirit to reign.
We each must make that choice to free ourselves by allowing the Spirit of truth whom took upon him the sins of the earth to raise us from our ashes.
We must die to the capability of evil and arise to the truth in which Christ has given us the power over that darkness within us by sending us the Comforter whom lives and breathes within which is his Holy Spirit.
All we do is receive it and be set free! God hunts for us to free us. Lovely message of truth.✨ ❤️✨

The presentation on the transformation from Saul to Paul would have been much more relatable if it were a Black Man with Tattoos, playing a former gang member, and gave his life to Christ on the way to Damascus. You often hear of men going to prison and converting to Islam while incarcerated. But when have you ever seen the story told of the men who find Christ while incarcerated and go hard for God, like the Muslims do for Allah?
