I believe John is the Beast in Kessler's timeline due to the fact in an audiolog in inFAMOUS 2 you hear John describing an interesting encounter with Kessler. Kessler approaches John and mentions that John has a purpose (which it is implied he is referring to John's transformation into the Beast.) Another log reveals that John has a theory that Kessler knows of his hidden agenda (a spy) but Wolfe says that that is insane and Kessler would've killed John by now.
And as far as we know, John was also working for the First Sons in Kessler's timeline, so he could have just as easily somehow come in contact with the raysphere built in his timeline, therefore, transforming him into the beast.
If Kessler knew John was the beast he likely would have killed him, also the beast in the original timeline has a different set of powers, He has cryo powers, earth bending powers, and can somehow destroy the moon (Which wouldn’t be consistent with John’s motive, if he was the Beast and decided to activate conduit’s powers why tf would he destroy the moon? And Kessler says the original beast was pure evil and was killing everyone conduit and human alike)
@@usagentgaming3079 no, that wasn't what Kessler wanted, he wanted Cole to defeat the Beast, he wanted Cole to become the hero he failed to be, in Kessler's mind, he had already failed so killing John or the Beast would've felt unearned and undeserved
My personal theory is that Delsin Rowe is the Beast of the original timeline. He was kidnapped by the First Sons and awakened his ability to absorb other conduit abilities but something went wrong and the Ray Sphere turned Delsin into the Beast, warping his mind and becoming driven by mindless destruction and to harness other conduit powers, which is why he hunted Kessler/Cole for years.
There is literally no reason for that to be the case. Although we don't know where Alden's first sons base of operations is, imma take a big guess and say it wasn't near a isolated town with akomish people in it. Delsin and Reggie and all the akomish are dead in Kessler's timeline.

I always assumed the beast in Kessler's timeline wasn't John.
But I always assumed it was a version of Cole from an Alternative Timeline (Maybe similar to the Infamous 2 evil timeline).
Mainly because the beast seems to have some form of ice powers (This beast also seems more powerful then the one we see in Infamous 2, with him blowing up the moon and all).
LOL ONLY 2 OF THESE?! Seriously though, this is the most interesting part about the InFAMOUS lore to me personally.

I'd say that Cole 1.0 has powers Cole 2.0 wouldn't have due to how their powers were developed. Cole 1.0 developed his naturally, Cole 2.0 got his powers in an explosion and jumpstarted himself repeatedly to get new powers. Then the Beast broke Cole's 2.0's powers and he had to start from scratch and jumpstart himself again.
We don't know that. The games never say either of those things.

i think, that device that kessler has in his arm and chest is just an amplifier of his powers like you can see in the first infamous kessler vs cole, their power are the same but with some changes, and i personally think that the beast is actually john and the images shown with the ice thing is just kuo that helped him, as you know in the evil karma ending of infamous 2 kuo actually helps john i dunno man that's my little theory lmao

I think Kessler would’ve gotten his powers after 2011 in the original timeline, not between 2005-2020. If he accelerated the Ray Sphere’s development, he must’ve done it so Cole would get his powers sooner than he originally did so he’d be better prepared to fight The Beast. Otherwise there wouldn’t be a need to “accelerate” the development, since Cole would already have powers if 2005 was a plausible year for Kessler obtaining his own in the original timeline.
I don’t know if the Ray Sphere was what summoned The Beast in the original timeline, but I still find it ironic that Kessler’s intervention in the past made The Beast appear earlier than it was originally supposed to.
What you said about Kessler causing The Beast to appear sooner was something that he seemed to have anticipated, because in one of the Dead Drops in Infamous 2, Bertrand mentioned that Kessler came and visited him and and told him that The Beast would come to New Marais and that they needed to prepare themselves

Calling it before shit gets real. Beast from Kessler future is Good Karma Cole after John gave him his powers at the end of inFamous2. Explaining why did the beast had Ice powers in Kessler's future and it also explains how did Cole appeared on Kesler Timeline. Just like Kessler he achived time travel and went back in time. WIN WIN

The First Sons didn't have to capture Cole in the first timeline to experiment on the ray sphere,Alden was a Conduit himself,i bet they found others as the First Sons had great interest in psychic powers even before the discovery of the Conduit's gene,hence why Alden already had primitive powers before the Ray Sphere unlocked its full potential,for the travel in time,Cole stated that it was Kessler's newest and most dangerous power at this time,

Gonna just drop this here for whoever wishes to answer this: If John wasn't the beast in Kessler's timeline, then how come in one of the first dead drops you find in inFAMOUS 2 John tells Wolfe about a conversation he had with Kessler which he tells John (in "I" quote) "said I had an important goal, that'd I'd accomplish great things." When Wolfe asks if he believed him he replies "Idk, but the way he looked at me, made me want him to be wrong." which holds such heavy foreshadowing especially once Kuo tells you John was also a conduit it just makes you realize after replaying the game again that it was going to be John all along which is crazy. Also remember, a conduit is a human who holds the conduit gene, no matter how their powers are unlocked whatever powers they exhibit are the powers provided by their conduit gene so John was going to become the beast all along. In the first game no one knows anything about conduits really and isn't explained further until the sequels so no one was ever given the impression that John was a conduit until the sequel. I loved your theory tho it has some great points

Playing through again now and I hear that the kessler made the day showed to give them thier powers early meaning that over time people would have started getting powers without the day sphere and that all it did was speed the process up a couple years.

Delsin Rowe its "The Original Beast" and for some reason he becomes Bad and absorb the Powers of John 1.0 and many other Conduits, that Explain the Diferent Look of the Beast in original timeline and why he can use powers like Ice, etc and in some point destroys the moon

I want an InFamous 2 that takes place after the events of evil karma InFamous 1.
Cole becomes the leader of the First Sons and forms an alliance with the Reapers.
That would be an interesting scenario, the only problem with that is at the start of Infamous 2 The Beast shows up and wipes Empire City off the map

Projectile:shoot bullets made of ashes that will gradually slow down enemies until em turn into ashes to consume. Rocket:create a drill made of ash that will pierce humansized enemies and damage armoredvehicles.SpecialDrill:youcan Shoot the drill into the ground and make it explode under a certain enemy by shooting em with the projectileAshesBullets.
Grenade:Ball of ashes that follows the target;explode and blind enemies gradually making em slower.Enemies with low health will explode in ashes and damage ppl in a very shortrange. Blast:create shards made of ashes that will Dmg ArmoredVehicles and slow them. You can stab ashes shards on ppl untill they turn into ash dummies that will attack enemies. These guys can be killed and will explode after a few seconds if theres no enemies; you can absorb em too.
Dash: turn into ashes and fly fast...the dash attack will be a charged punch or kick depending if you are ground dashing(Uppercut) andairdashing(Axe kick)
Drop: slam the ground turning enemies with low health into ashes to cover/absorb and slowing down other enemies.

Love to play as another alternate universe/timeline Kessler. I think time travel works like MCU. As in if you make changes to the past you make another timeline/universe, but your past remains the same.
The robotic parts could be what he uses for electricity. During the kessler boss fight, i noticed that blue lights come out of kesslers arm when he shoots white lightning.
Well, we know he had electrical powers before he had robotic parts because of the ending cutscene. Maybe they amplify his powers.

I mean, it would be interesting to see Cole in some way, or maybe have(if they make a new game) so there’s different options at the start, where you can pick which ending you had in Infamous 2, and the ending you had in Infamous second son. And then I think you get it from there

They need to make a part 3 with an alternate ending completely that would explain everything and it being a ending that will include Trish and the other conduit which would make a part 4 that would be infamous international. 😯 Whatever happened to Aldin if that's the guy that gets blasted off the bridge? He was never confirmed to be dead.
I don't think that good ending for infamous 2 was completely canaon because if it was then ALL conduits would be dead.
The Good Karma Ending of Infamous 2 is the Canon Ending, though interestingly enough the Evil Karma Ending was originally going to be Canon and Sucker Punch even had plans to make an Infamous 3 game that picked up from that, they made the Good Karma Ending Canon because more people chose the Good Karma Storyline and basically retconned "The RFI killed all Conduits" thing and said that some Conduits somehow were able to resist the RFI's effects, that seems a little too convenient imho, and as for Alden Tate, he is dead, his death was confirmed in an Infamous Comic Book Series, he was captured by Moya right after his fight with Cole on the bridge leading to the Historic District, and was later dissected
They should make a new game called Infamous Remastered with cole as the main character,but i dont know how he would be alive.
While I think the Beast could not have been John White as they have very different goals Kessler does tell John he is going to do great things which might be a nod that Kessler knows who John became though it's not very clear and presents a plot hole if he did. Perhaps John in Kesslers timeline helped him in some way if the First Sons did capture Kessler like in your theory then perhaps John freed Kessler since he most likely still would have infiltrated their ranks.

I'd like to say yes, but I don't think so because we don't know anything about it. Sucker Punch provided no explanation and it's just lazy writing. Alex and Ian have already made videos about their theory, but beyond that, there nothing to really talk about.
Can you make an inDEPTH video on John White? It would probably be longer than this one since almost all the Dead Drops are about him but he's had a lot of influence in the inFAMOUS timeline maybe more so than Kessler.
Also I think John's Conduit power (just a theory) is the ability to manipulate bio electricity, the same thing that activates the Conduit Gene according to the comic. So John manipulates it to do the same thing as the Ray Sphere, force the bio electricity from the surrounding population and force it into any Conduit positives in the blast radius but without Ray Sphere Radiation, what causes the Plague. This could exactly be how he gave Cole the ability to see the plague/Conduit positives and of course the powers of the Beast. This would also explain why he's so powerful, he can grant himself new powers all the time. His power source is the same thing that creates Conduits.
And I bring this theory up because I think I know who the Beast (since you mentioned that it would be too much of a coincidence to be John again) from the original timeline was, Delsin Rowe. Who I believe has the same ability to manipulate bio electricity and that is why he can copy the abilities of other Conduits. In the comic it mentioned that multiple exposures to the Ray Sphere grants multiple powers (not just abilities, but like Cole getting Ice in inFAMOUS 2) so Delsin can activate his Conduit Gene multiple times by physical contact with another Conduit because he's absorbing their bio electricity.
I probably will eventually. He is a very important character.

Delsin is the first Conduit that can naturally absorb other powers. It would seem kinda lame if there wasn't something to it.
But then again, we may not ever see if my theory is right since SP hasn't even announced the next game.
I think that when John was ripped apart by the Ray Sphere at the end of Infamous 1, the Sphere literally became a part of him, for all we know, John may have been more powerful than The Beast in Kessler's original timeline
wrong one of the original audio logs impies that Kessler knew John was the beast also if in theroy John was the beast he might of been doing the same thing. Kessler also impies he could have killed the beast but chose to protect his family it's possible the collateral would have been to much dispite him saying he could have killed him before he became too strong.
The destruction of the moon is most possibly to demonstrate how powerful the Beast really is. I mean if you can destroy something as big as the moon then you have enough power to destroy an entire planet. As I was watching the video, a few theories came to mind: what if the Beast was a Conduit that was made to kill all Conduits (most likely created by the gov't or a DUP like organization unknown of in Kessler's timeline, maybe some super-Conduit soldier in an experiment gone wrong?), but programming got all fucked up and he decides to kill all life to make sure no more Conduits are ever made from coitus. Another: what if instead of "malfunctioning Ray Sphere gives nearest Conduit's 'Beast powers'" they are just overloaded with energy and, like what Cole said about Sasha, like how the more they use their powers or how get stronger I think, they get a "warped body and twisted mind" making them (or the guy who turned into the Beast) believe that killing people is the best solution to saving life or something (or like I said before to stop Conduits). Well pretty much like David, I guess, because he mutated because of repeated exposure to Ray Field energy so this guy (the Beast in Kessler's timeline) got heavily mutated, or stronger from repeated exposure to Ray Field energy or a sudden burst of Ray Field energy turning him into a crazy god-like Conduit with also a warped body and twisted mind.
I'd have to explain my theory. Maybe that'll be the next episode.

I know some people are going to be pissy about what I'm about to say but I wish that Kessler lived and ended up working with different cole or siphoning off him and finishing the job himself. Kessler is so much cooler and technically talking from a realistic point of view way stronger than Cole should've been. Kessler had years upon years upon years to develop and hone his skills and he loses to a newbie alternate him? Ridiculous honestly, they should've wrote the story different in my eyes but still brilliant game and concept nonetheless. Ps. We get to play the game with kessler skin so not a total loss lol

Infamous 2 was a letdown for me compared to Infamous. The first part soo fantastic and Kessler was very relatable and tragic.
Yeah inFAMOUS 2 is too typical superhero for me and didn't build upon much from the first game's story.

The boss battle in inFamous 2 was childish and easy. Atleast the first game had unique boss battles and Kessler's was soo hard.
