The girl attacked at the start, I was her love interest and ended up as the first victim but the scene was cut. From memory the cars were rentals. Believe it or not, at the end of your video you show some behind the scenes footage. The man catching the running girl in the park is actually George Novak. He was one of Australia’s best stuntmen and known for car stunt driving and crashes, among other things. He was a stuntman in Mad Max. Sadly no longer with us.
Oh man I bought this dvd on a whim back in like ‘05. It definitely leaves an impact on you! 😆 My favorite thing about the movie is that ANY time that ANYONE fires a gun, they have to keep shooting until the clip is empty, and half the time they’ll look at their gun, perplexed, as if not understanding why it won’t shoot anymore.
Yeah, apparently the name may or may not be inspired by a Star Trek character? Obviously could not confirm that, but I saw lots of people making that observation.
This movie left it's mark on me. I saw it when I was like 13-14 and I've never forgotten about it. For almost 20 years I've told the tale of the shitty blade rip-off . Its pretty sweet you made a video about it
This one got released in France on DVD, and I still don't really understand how (and why). I kinda loved all the leather/vampire shenanigans as a teenager.
I was in this (vampire number 1 or 2 or 3 or 4) in the scene where four black clad vamps are quickly killed. It's not great, but what Dave and Kel did with the money they didnt really have was commendable. To be honest, I had no idea people paid for it and I'm surprised it made it to France! And those American accents were about as good as an American doing an Aussie accent.
The fact that their production value is about as good as a couple of marketing executives and amateur actors tells you how much effort they put into thier films, lmao
Thanks so much for posting this :) I watched the movie years ago (bought a DVD) and I enjoyed it in spite of everything that is obviously wrong with the production. But what I will say, is I think you've been a little bit unfair because there is a reason the K-17 turns people into vampires and there's a reason the pureblood vampires are stuck in that room. (Don't want to have to do a spoiler alert, if anyone hasn't seen the movie yet, then please hunt it down and watch it). My point is that the filmmakers weren't JUST making a vampire movie with shades and trench coats, they had a plot, albeit a little bit of a tenuous one :) Thanks for reminding me of this movie :)

Dude! Appreciate your insight into this film and thank you for your work on it!

lmao, I didn't even notice that!
Michael Dorn sure looks different without the Klingon makeup.

@@RandalltheVandal Michael Dorn played Worf. Yeah it seems possible it's a deliberate reference.

Thank you for your work on this film! As I said in the video, I honestly do enjoy it, and I'm glad Dave and Kel were daring enough to make it.
Michael Dorn is literally me
Nah. Your narrations are much livelier.
I bought this randomly in a rental store. Those pizza blood spatters really sit with you for life
This looks like something the Asylum would make

Saul Goodman in a trenchcoat lmao

You're welcome!
0:58 sounds like the spider-man game trailer for ps2
Honestly, it could be the same song. Wouldn't surprise me since it's just generic early 2000s electronic music.
Awesome.
I watched this on the horror channel way back in 05 I loved the trailer not so much the movie
Lol, that must have been a let down
I brought the dvd it had the theme tune playing constantly in the menu screen that was great just for the theme song
