Mother needs to stay out of husband and wife business, and wife needs to be more responsible!
Right. Why is the husband paying the mother directly for rent? Weird.
They both need to be more responsible. The husband has moved on with a new gf, Easy come, an easy-go attitude. The wife is clearly fed up, resentful, and miserable. The mother is fuelling the mess. They made a child together, and the child should be their only priority.

The mother shouldn't be in their business. But it looks like she feels pressured to be involved. Her daughter seems to be incredibly irresponsible and lacks motivation. Her attitude in court comes off like she could care less. Her mother is speaking on her behalf like she's a 16 year old mom. The mom should stay out of it for own sanity and health. This marriage is irreparable.

@@urszulapanikowski6944 Easy to have 3 jobs. 1 Full time job and 2 part time jobs. Doesn't mean you work 3 jobs a day it just means you have 3 jobs. Monday-Friday you work 8 hours a day from your full time job. You work Monday-Wednesday 5 hours a day for a total of 15 hours. And then Thurs-Sunday 4 hrs a day for 16 hours.

@Mahailia Brown. I see many episodes of her getting on the men, which in some cases can be women's fault. I have even seen her getting upset with guys that don't want anything with the kid anymore after they find out they're not the father. Idk about Lauren anymore

I am retired military and all of the money he receives for his dependents is supposed to go to his dependents. If his command hears about this court case, they can and will use it against him and make recommendation and charges under the UCMJ. (Uniform Code of Military Justice)

She doesn’t at all and this case should have been referred for his chain of command to handle, not a civilian court. This issue is really a matter between him and his wife.

My son has had to buy complete dress & BDU's 3 times now bc they have changed the uniform. I'm sure that you have bunked with other wives during deployments bc you couldn't afford rent.

Judge Judy is assuming a whole lot about this Grandmother’s ability to buy food and pay for utilities for two extra people in her home and presumes the MIL is obligated “a mother should do that”. I find that inappropriate.

It's military and its probably a lie. It would make zero sense for him to pay 1650/month and his coworkers paying the utilities and water???? which would be 90% less then the rent payment. WHAT NORMALLY happens, Is a group live together and still get 100% of their rent allowance. And then SPLIT the cost and end up saving 30-50% and pocketing it for themselves and they get to live in a penthouse. It's pretty common overseas military single.
You have no idea what is going on with the other men. Do you understand that some military men have to pay so much in spousal support child support etc and they are barely left with anything. So maybe he was helping people out. Gosh humanity has gone to shits.

If you’re in the military you know the defendant played Judge Judy and his wife big time. She should have gone straight to his Commander officer. I speak from experience 10 years and counting and I’m Human Resources this is my bread and butter. She can get him back she just don’t know it.

Young spouses only know what their service member tells them unless they research for themselves (talk to the ombudsman, other older wives, etc...). If she reports him to his command, they would step in immediately. She doesn't even get to see his LES?! That's a major red flag. He's shacking up with someone in Japan, which is typically what so many do after telling their spouse to move in with family to "save money." Saw it so many times. The saddest part is I've heard recruiters tell new recruits to get married before going in so they can get more for BAH etc... and not let their dependents know how much extra they are making. They get allotments sent to multiple bank accounts so the spouse never knows how much they have. The wife needs help dealing with this jerk.

JJ was incorrect…. She was referring to the taxes both she and Bert pay were paying the housing allowance. That’s not what it is. It’s not like welfare/public assistance. The housing allowance is because the son-in-law is active duty and married.
She always makes me so angry when she acts like military is the same as welfare.
This one is very confusing to me. He stated in the first video he would get the housing allowance anyway but because he was married it was increased to $200. So he said he got $1689 so wouldn't that he mean the he would otherwise get $1489? I guess that seems to me all the breakdown there is. I believe he's lying about paying $1650 for rent. Even if his roommates pay the bills he also needs funds for everyday basic needs(food clothing). $39 is not going to cut it.

$ 1689 is the housing allowance only. He still gets paid additional funds for being on active duty. It's also not far-fetched that his serving mates decided to shack up together in order to pool their money. Now wether he's paying the full rent vs splitting it by 3, I doubt it.

He needs to be taking care of his child, period. If he receives BAH, he needs to be sending them some money. If he chooses to live off base with some buddies, they ALL need to be paying the rent. She could have filed a paper with the company she has the car loan through to either reduce or defer the payments until his deployment ended. The military would've send the money straight to her if she had opened her mouth

A lot of people have old counsels. I had my PS2 for more then a decade. Now I have my old PS4 . And I hardly watch TV. This man has been on deploments and he has gradually stoped having time for it. Also a TV and game system is not that expensive.

oh HELL NO. My child is grown. Once they turn 18. I'm no longer responsible for her. Including free rent. All my utilities go up. Instead of $80 a month for electricty. I pay $100 more. My water bill goes up. More dishes need to be washed. Clothes need to be washed. Showers, toilet. No way Im paying for any of that, just because shes my child.
