Meh, I got lucky with a mirror entity and heard that. It's pretty much the first Hearthstone Easter Egg O.o. And Rafaam is the creepy dood that speaks at the end of First Wing o3o
+Hats imulator Unless you've already beaten normal and heroic. Then, he's just telling you what you should already know. This is the one time I strongly considered skipping ahead.
Kripparrian your voice is so soothing so when i go to sleep i have your videos by my side and then i just fall asleep so quick and they are great if your looking for some usefull tips for hearthstone and there just great so keep up the good work my friend :)
Don't make the same mistake I made against heroic Sun Raider Phaerix and shadow madness the rod into another minion to kill it. It dies on your side and immediately becomes a new 3/8 on his side. Much sadness ensued.
dutchman1997 I recognized what happened immediately after I did it. I was trying to do something cute where the minion would return to me at the end of the turn, but death resets the shadow madness buff.
I agree with freeze mage for the escape encounter, but I would remove all cards with higher than 4 mana cost. These can be replaced with vaporize and mirror image. For the second encounter, I also used priest. Instead of planning to grind him out, I used the divine favour/inner fire combo. Shadow word pain + Silence to steal the rod and turn it against him. The silences are still good on nearly all of his minions to prevent 5 dmg etc.... The first encounter is exceptionally easy, but since the wishes are spells. . . Tempo Mage is a ton of fun in this encounter. You can remove most of the high mana cost cards in your deck since the wishes will likely clog your hand anyway.
For ppl who just started with doing solo adventure, I have one tip and that is to use a control deck. I use my grim patreon deck (control version). Best in my opinion is not to use a control shaman deck because you lose fast to it. with all of the removal the bosses have.
Damn after watching Amaz and his struggles with Heroic Zinaar, your method seemed like such a cakewalk lmao well played, also holy crap why didn't the whole saboteur on the hall's hero power ever occur to me...for some reason I envisioned it as always remaining at zero cost...once again well done.
Play Priest. Easy mode. That pretty much goes for all Adventure challenges. Dragon Priest got me through most of it, and then I changed it to control priest when it was necessary. That's the easy way to do it, now; not necessarily the most fun. I had a crazy amount of fun with this adventure, though. So freakin' cool! Edit: I have to agree with Kripp, though. These encounters were extremely easy (on heroic, that is; of course normal should be easy-ish), and I also found that pretty disappointing. But, still fun.
Not that the encounter needs any more help really, but in the escape mission, the 4 mana Animated Armor can help out, as he is completely ignored by the minions on the board. Just another tool that isn't just fluff.
It was a little bit more easy than Blackrock, first heroic boss die to my usuall custom deck, for secound i changed three cards in my custom dragon warrior, and last one was hardest, whole new deck (Priest with shadow words, bombs etc.). But to be true im fine with that! Not everyone play this game every day Kripp (and have unlimited time for that). For me Heroic mode in Naxx and Blackrock was very frustrating experience, because often i need to restart whole game over and over again just to get my cards in one big, good draft. This heroic is harder, but not extreme, so i was having very fun experience without any frustraton factor. IMO BEST ADVENTURE!
heroic mode temple was fun. I played a rogue with vanish's, sap's, betrayal and lots of low mana taunts. Idea is you always have to take the extra mana at the start so right before the huge board clear you get to vanish the whole field so its smart to take the 10 extra health or if you dont have the next vanish you have to take extra cards. but the next turn he will play one of those 8/8's with divine shield and the 10/10 that die immediately to his board then you take the extra turn closer and hope you have enough taunts to get passed the 10/3's
I managed to blargle my way through all three parts with facehunter on my first attempts. I silenced the staff while it was on my side in the second part, and enjoyed the AI not trying to kill it asap.
I am usin Kripp cool deck - that is druid deck with a lot of healing and removal to push the game into fatigue and it works for almost all bosses.. also pretty good for heroic
I just randomly decided to play my priest deck against all the bosses (non-heroic) and 1 shot them all. I then 1shot both the class challenges. It was definitely too easy if my deck didn't really matter. My deck was even an awful match for the first boss and it wasn't close. I'd probably lose on heroic just because you (should) have to tailor a deck to the encounter, but can't say yet if that's the case. Getting cards for the gold is nice, but it kinda sucks if the "cool" boss battles aren't challenging, then they're not so cool.
Its almost expected for you to beat all the bosses in one try if you're not playing on heroic. They're not meant to be that challenging so even new players can complete it without getting too frustrated. Heroic mode is where the real challenge lies.
+vileguy normal mode is there for people who don't have any cards to be able to complete easy enough to get the new cards. Heroic is the real, actual adventure you're paying for.
Bosses were way too easy I agree, but remember that this is just the first wing so bosses are kinda expected to be a poultry task. It is in the middle wings (imo) where the difficult bosses are
This Adventure i feel was intentionally easier because of everyone complaining, getting just the card back from the extremely hard bosses wasn't a good enough pain-glory ratio so they lessened the pain so you get the cardback but don't feel like it was a dreadful waste
+QuantumBraced The temple is clearly male, it's just trying to kill you. The female version of this encounter tries to ruin your life and make you hate yourself.
"It's pretty difficult to beat him" - Kripp 2015 The thing is that the heroic bosses this week were pretty much the easiest ever. Completed all of them on the first try without any difficulty at all.
Anyone looking for an interesting game against Zaneer - all of his "wishes" are 0-cost spells, so a combo rogue deck is a lot of fun and can take him on heroic. Just hold the wishes for when you need combo material. Backstab, Eviserate, etc. I'm sure you can figure out what works for you, but this worked for me and was probably more enjoyable than mill druid :D.
How i cleared heroic first wing Genie: Facehunter Sun Raider: Survival/heal focused priest with inner fire Temple: Humility/Aldor/Eadric inspired taunt paladin overall didn't take that long
beat all on heroic on first try. For the wish guy just use flamewakers and pyro and use many wishes at once. for the staff guy i played zoo, really easy to get board control and stay ahead if you get owl turn2. the temple i played a paladin deck with all removals possible (inclusing double equality) and good jousters. annoyotron is also ridiculously strong
If they raised the difficulty of the bosses, intermediate players like me and a lot of other people will have a hard time beating these bosses. For you, this is easy because you literally own all the cards in the game.
+Timothy Hong But...isn't heroic mode supposed to be, er, hard? I can believe that normal mode is easy on purpose for accessibility, but since heroic rewards are purely vanity they should totally be that hard.
+Junjie Xie I'd prefer them being easy than BS totally luck based battles like heroic Lord Nefarius. These matches are actually well designed where you can actually tackle them multiple ways and not have to pray for godlike openings and the opponent opening bad like in previous heroics.
+Timothy Hong Kripp said that he even destroyed these bosses on his free to play account. I've had this game for about 3 months, and these bosses were jokes.
oh ok. Anyways, I'm quite poor on gold, haven't been able to try out the new adventure yet. My way of playing is get 100 gold, buy pack. Can't resist the temptation of those packs
I don't own all the cards, nor do I play super exclusively, but these bosses were quite easy. I had more trouble on the Escape than Phaerix, seeing how I didn't have a freeze mage, and didn't want to try it. Went Tempo mage on Sinaar, Ctrl Priest Phaerix, and eventually beat Escape with a hunter deck.
First wing heroics have always been easier then the rest. I do however see the point and I wish I had to try hard more as that's what I enjoy most from the adventures (hard mode).
Off Topic -- Challengestone idea: Make a deck with 2 copies of (a) Summoning Stone, (b) Alarm-o-bot, (c) (d) (e)...[few other options of lesser played but cool cards]
Steven Path No, I meant what I said. I was referring to the idea of Summoning Stone: "a version of it" in Tavern Brawl. Same idea, different versions. I'm well aware of the order they appeared in.
You know instead of the Skip Kripp or Watch Kripp I want a TL;DR Kripp so i can learn if he had anything to say in that part without having to watch it.
But in a way it kinda makes sense that freeze mage would make it easy to escape, i cant tell you how many times i've ran for the instance entrance portal spamming frost nova or cone of cold.....lol
For me, the Djinn was easy, you must take out his minions QUICK... if you want to go for the face, go after the minions or they will take over..................................... Sun Raider Phaerix was a pain.... between the taunts and the Flamelances and the Tol'vir Hoplites were just annoying. The way I won was with a taunt healing shaman. I got baron geddon for a board cleaner which helped... but heres the fun part. I have the rod under 20 health of taunts, I have a baron geddon that i had flametounge totem next to him. then i pull out 2 rockbiters, a windfury, and bloodlust..... aka 26 damage when I hit the face............................The Collapsing Temple wasn't the hardest, but wasn't the easiest... I got in on the 2nd try but I recommend Warlock, aslong as you can heal yourself... but I recommend AoE spells or minions. I used hellfire, baron geddon, and foe reaper and aslong as you survive, heal, taunt, and you try and kill ALL minions ( and choose carefully which minion... it will effect who wins )..... you are very sure to win.... also, try silencing some minions. Most of there minions have slightly weaker stats for a HUGE effect.
Oh fuck I wish I thought of Freeze Mage for Heroic Temple Escape! I went high healing priest with doomsayers and lots of taunts and it took about 5 tries, but I feel Freeze Mage would have been easier.
I love how AI on 16:23 uses his hero power: "Draw a card. (he is out of cards) Gain a Mana crystal. (he has max already) Give your opponent a wish. Gj Blizz...
What came to my mind when I playing last night... Reno Jackson legendary card will be probably played in most decks. Why? This card is nightmare. I was playing aggro mech mage against rouge(which doesnt really matter) and it was turn before lethal from my side(7th turn)...and Reno Jackson was played and I felt like "Lets start everything from begin". I lost ofc as I was top decking(which is obviously common in aggro decks). So my conclusions are like: Mill rouge with Gang Up will get deep second breath and could make a lot now. Any Control/Grim Patron warrior will benefit from it as well as handlocks warlocks, any control decks, freeze mages, mages who play Duplicate and so on. Aggro decks are now screwd more than less. However with new secret for paladin it is not so bad as imo Reno Jackson on turn 7 or 8 is pretty a tempo lose, espacially when Dr.Balance come in and after him Tyrion. What do you think?
+WasIst Funf No.. if you are playing a control deck against aggro which relies on not having a second copy of a single card in your deck, or nearly none, you are going to have a really bad time.
You are probably right. Not sure why though. you either want to do it for yourself the 1st time (in which case why would you spoil it), or you have already done it and which case (personally) I find it boring compared to normal matches :)
+MINIMAX im one of those people that like watching others play them i've seen 3 of them already its fun to see there reactions to it and how they try to beat it mostly the heroic part is the best
+Shawn Ryan already testing him instead of tree of life in mill druid. Already won fatigue against midrange pally using it ... Only problem is that you can't know if it will heal you :o
Have any of the popular streamers uploaded any constructed play with the new cards yet? I am only subbed to Kripp, Amaz, Trump, Kibler, StrifeCro and Kolento, so if any of you could recommend any other entertaining channels from HS players, I'd appreciate it!
Fun Fact: If you somehow manage to get one of those Tol'vir Hoplite and do an attack with it (Well you just have to click it to hear what it has to say) It will say...

How to escape the temple:
1 - Play double annoy-o tron
2 - win
or freeze mage with double annoyotron and every damn taunt minion
I dont have any :
+Miika Kilpeläinen Because you play face hunter?
Aleks Grager Because i started after gvg. Hunter is my least favorite class.
thanks to duplicate i had 6 or so rods in my game, everybody was immune.
+Zamuroy On the contrary. my game had no rods as I had a full board when I killed it.
+Sommanker if you silence it, it also goes away :D
+Zamuroy but if you kill it then silence it, sometimes the bot just let your keep your rod for some reason, lol.

with regards to the difficulty, it is only the first wing to be fair. The next wings will undoubtedly be more difficult.
So apparently the process of escaping a temple is a "he". :P I'm kidding, thanks for the breakdown, Kripp.

strategy for the first two heroic bosses: play secret paladin and win; for the third: warrior with cheap taunts and double brawl; its really easy then

i beat every boss with my standard freeze mage^^ i was kinda suprised that it worked out :O
Reno Jackson makes the deck tracker much more efficient, unfair and games changing.

+VinronPwnIndustries Tried it in my pure control deck which only runs 4 copies of cards and it didn´t work nearly as good as i´d expected it
Watch the Kripp: 0:04
27:44 as who likes watching people play Adventures oO
You are probably right.
Not sure why though. you either want to do it for yourself the 1st time (in which case why would you spoil it), or you have already done it and which case (personally) I find it boring compared to normal matches :)
+MINIMAX or you dont have enough gold :)
+MINIMAX Personally, I want to know what it's like so I can decide if it's worth getting.
+MINIMAX im one of those people that like watching others play them i've seen 3 of them already its fun to see there reactions to it and how they try to beat it mostly the heroic part is the best
All valid points :)
Pause after Kripp made that Comment about the improved AI, then go over to trump and see the AIs first move. 8)
Does anyone else think that kripp sounds a lot like sips from Yogscast?
Is Reno Jackson voiced by Chris Parnell?
The first wing of all of the encounters are usually really easy.
When facing sun raider phaerix just play rouge so that you can give the staff stealth....
If you actually do 30 dmg with mill, would you be able to win like that against the escape? Cuz this is Blizzard, right?
seems fun
Could be harder imo too, just got through all 3 with dragon shaman in one try :I
You know what's my favourite legendary now? His name is RENO JACKSON!!!
+Shawn Ryan already testing him instead of tree of life in mill druid. Already won fatigue against midrange pally using it ... Only problem is that you can't know if it will heal you :o
+Gregory Zelevinsky U can with Decktracker.
+Ju Le or with a brain? learn how to count cards, you can def know if it will heal you everytime
i just like freeze maged the second but with extra removal like polyorph and stuff
I finally beat all heroic bosses!!!
I love Reno Jackson's sexual innuendos.
I really wanna know what happens when you Jeeves him
+Admiral Nothing, he is immune.
+Admiral
It's not a him; it's a temple, and it's collapsing. You can't kill a collapsing building (or any other inanimate object).
If you Jeeves someone who is at fatigue with no cards they draw 3 fatigue cards but then stop, the same should happen with this temple
+Admiral he has no health, therefore taking no fatigue damage (or any other damage)
Ninja 129
Don't call it a he -_-
It's just a temple, guys. A really large structure you're running out of (escaping its collapse).
Have any of the popular streamers uploaded any constructed play with the new cards yet?
I am only subbed to Kripp, Amaz, Trump, Kibler, StrifeCro and Kolento, so if any of you could recommend any other entertaining channels from HS players, I'd appreciate it!
+lordhuebi omg you don´t know Noxious ? NoxiousGLHF, go and watch it, especially his Randuin vids
VinronPwnIndustries oh, sorry, forgot to mention nox :D thank you though!
lordhuebi
you are welcome mate, glad you know him :)
Hahaha! Sneak attack!
can you look at anima golem now that dreadsteed is a thing?
flamewaker wrecks the first boss so hard
I think the difficulty level should be lower so newer players have a chance. Somewhere, it's someone's first adventure.
I won 1st boss in heroic in 1 try as a standart oil rogue and didn't even noticed that he gains a mana crystall lol. so easy
+fritt wastaken cool story
+fritt wastaken
I thought I accidentally clicked on normal when I did it
+fritt wastaken
Tryed him with tempo mage, never seen a flamewalker do so much damage.
He does kill doomslayer with the 7/7.
I grabbed that staff and gave it stealth :P
gang up the rod, you'll basically break the whole thing XD
