thank you mate, its a little gem!
It is mate and thanks for the comment. 😊👍🏻
Thanks Neil another great vid … 🙌
Thanks, it’s a nice little day trip I must say..😀👍🏻
Fantastic video! 👌🏼
Thankyou! 👍🏻😊
excellent video thank you for your efforts.
Thanks Carmelo, 😊👍🏻
Great spot! Would an AWD Tiguan be capable enough? Thinking of taking the family out when they arrive in Aus, not enough room in the Jeep 😂
I think so Luke. As long as it’s dry, there’s some steep bits, maybe take the Jeep too, in case the AWD needs a tow. 😀
Thats a nice little day trip Neil. What would you recommend closer to Camden? I'm thinking about coming down and visit family and taking them on a 4wd day trip. I don't want a nice graded gavel road but I also don't want anything wild.
Thanks Jim, re Camden I would’ve suggested Belanglo SF because it’s got some 4WDing, and it’s under an hour from here, but it’s mostly closed, like a lot of areas, with this unusual weather. Trees down, tracks damaged etc. Penrose SF is open but that’s just gravel roads but it might be the only option. 😊👍🏻
@@Challenger4WD Thanks Neil. I have no plans yet just thoughts. They may even come up her e before I go down.
@@FlatBrokeAdventures yes Samurai beach looks nice, plenty of options around you! 😀
@@Challenger4WD Yes I'm lucky that way. Samurai or Stockton are within 10 - 12mins and some trails are about 40 - 45 mins away
Think an XV can make it?
I’m sure it could. The last bit is quite steep though. So it’d have to be nice and dry. 👌😀
@@Challenger4WD can’t wait to my XV there.
Do I need to deflate my tyres in my triton?
No, it’s a very easy track. If you want to go in low range on the steep bit that’s fine. Deflating tyres gives you a better ride on corrugations and it’s a must on the beach but this is just a nice day trip. There’s a bit of 4WDing available on the powerlines track which you’ll pass on the way in. 😀👌
@Challenger 4WD sweet that makes sense. I've only ever done beach 4wding where I deflate my tyres. I don't know what the rule of thumb is for off roading in the bush
