fffck it, this is my introduction to Acid King. those riff are fffcking killers, roughs, denses, psychedelic, amazing... the full moon is rising, it's 28th of november 2023 (our 20th aniversary together), and I'm here, listening to this band for the first time, and theres no way back.
I saw these guys waaayy back when with High On Fire supporting their first, The Art of Self Defense. Before their set, Lori cut her hand picking up broken beer bottles from the floor, but she wrapped it up and went up and jammed anyway. High On Fire was SCARY fuckin LOUD back then! ha

I love the sound and style but I cannot support any band that gives any power to Satanism, the Dark Arts, or the Pentagram so this is a pass for me. Being a Christian and being a stoner and fan of Stoner and Doom Metal can be difficult at times. I refuse to give any power to Satan/Lucifer, and I hope and pray these great musicians find the Light.

I lived in streamwood illinois during some of the 90s, i was a teen, had long hair, listened to metal, went to busse woods. I was a teenage hesher.
Found this just popping up because I've been listening to sleep and Earthless and I'm impressed surly perfect mushroom music.

Saw High On Fire last November. Still scary fucken loud. I couldn't hear my car's seatbelt beeper for a few weeks or so.
So awesome. I saw them a year or two ago in Nebraska with Warish opening and Lori was KILLER. One of my favorite shows ever. Stood right at their feet
