10 coats of Plasti dip.. I taped off the entire side of the car and painted them while they were on the car... If you use at least 10 coats it will peel off like one big strip of rubber.. the chrome will look brand-new underneath.. makes it really nice if you're ever going to sell the car or trade it in..
after 2 years yes they held up extremely well after 3 years a couple of the running lights along the edge stopped working those are now disconnected and the clear plastic on the front started looking like there was a film over that was peeling off it's not fixable. so for a show car yes they probably last a long time for a car that's using them and driving with them installed every single day back and forth to work expect them to last about 2 to 3 years before they start becoming a issue...
I love it! When you replaced your housing did you experience any leaking? Many places don’t want to replace mines because they said they will start letting water inside...
TaddBeta if you have the option to get the turbo model do it the 2.4 L is a great motor however there are limits to what you can do and how much power you can make compared to the turbo model if I have had to do an engine swap it would be the 2.0 Turbo in the same car that I have

Funny Flea the install couldn't be any easier the only thing that comes in the kit is exactly what you see in the beginning of the video you open each box and you get a left headlight assembly with all bulbs installed in them already. Take the bumper off the front of your car take the old headlights out put the new headlights in plugged in the into the existing plug on the car and everything works perfect

I put about 10 coats of Plasti dip on the entire thing that's why it's black it's actually high polish stainless steel underneath have a video on it on my UA-cam channel somewhere
Keny J. If your car has the DRL halogen bulbs this light setup will not be Plug and Play. When ordering them make sure you read the fine details and read all of them. This will only be a direct bolt-on if your car currently has the halogen bulbs. The set comes with everything to Plug & Play even all of the light bulbs. If you have the DRL it's not going to work it's a different style of plug
Keny J. Hey sorry about that I read your question wrong this light setup will not work for the hid. If your car has the hid these will not work if you have the DRL halogen bulbs it will work just fine that is what I had in my car before installing these. You will literally pull the front bumper off unbolt the headlights unplug them and pull the entire assembly out and install the new assembly. It literally is plug-and-play. You will not be using anything from the factory headlights this setup comes with everything. So remember it will not work for the hid. For some reason when I read your question I was thinking those are the HID headlights that it won't work with. What you are asking is will it replace or work with the halogen DRL bulbs the answer is it replaces them entirely. Yes these will bolt directly onto your vehicle

evan floyd no these ones came with everything no need to buy any bulbs. It's actually pretty easy bolt on install. And the ones that you see in the video fit a 2011 to 2014. Sorry I didn't answer your question sooner I just now seen the comments on UA-cam. UA-cam has been having issues with they're messaging system
Funny Flea I don't think the stock light bulbs will fit I haven't tried it so I really don't know but they should come with every single light bulbs that you need when you order them and no there is no rewiring they are plug-and-play they use the factory plug that is already on the car
Man, you like those ugly lights setup? I like the design on the LED white lights, but you cannot really change the main lights, WTF??? They are YELLOW a different color, WHY IN THE WORLD 🌎 would they do that? I cannot install my regular lights H7s, HIDs or my cool diamond 💎 vision lights that would match the the LEDs on the side perfectly. Why would they make it so stupidly? I sent that crap back, I was very disappointed. I cannot believe you like them. Regular yellow lights looks a mess. Dude they look awful, I’m very color coordinated about the lights on my Sonata.

Good job. Looking good. Your headlamps would look better with LEDs for your high & low beam.
I use Auxbeam with my OEM Sonata headlamp housing.
