Beautiful Pakistan: In this vlog we take you to Rakaposhi Nagar Valley and Attabad Lake in Hunza.
This is Day 4 of our travel in Northern Areas of Pakistan. We started our journey from Khuiratta, Kotli Azad Kashmir and have covered many areas such as Mansehra, Naran, Kaghan, Jal Khand, Babusar Top/Pass, Chilas, Gilgit and Hunza. In this travel vlog, we take you from Gilgit to Rakaposhi and then to Attabad Lake. Our journey along Karakoram Highway led us to see some amazingly beautiful places in Pakistan.
Tourism in Gilgit-Baltistan focuses on the mountains. Gilgit-Baltistan borders Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province to the west, a small portion of the Wakhan Corridor of Afghanistan to the north, Xinjiang, China to the northeast, the Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to the southeast, and the Pakistani-administered state of Azad Kashmir to the south.
Gilgit-Baltistan is home to five of the "eight-thousanders" and to more than fifty peaks above 7,000 metres (23,000 ft). Gilgit and Skardu are the two main hubs for expeditions to those mountains. The region is home to some of the world's highest mountain ranges. The main ranges are the Karakoram and the western Himalayas. The Pamir Mountains are to the north, and the Hindu Kush lies to the west. Amongst the highest mountains are K2 (Mount Godwin-Austen) and Nanga Parbat, the latter being one of the most feared mountains in the world.
Three of the world's longest glaciers outside the polar regions are found in Gilgit-Baltistan: the Biafo Glacier, the Baltoro Glacier, and the Batura Glacier. There are, in addition, several high-altitude lakes in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The Karakoram Highway is the major highway of Gilgit-Baltistan, which connects the region with the rest of Pakistan to the south and with China at its north end. It is highest paved road in world is sometimes termed as the "8th Wonder of World
Gilgit Baltistan is home of world highest and beautiful valleys. These include Ghancha, Shiger, Astore Valley, Gilgit, Ghizer Valley, Hunza Valley, Skardu and Nagar Valley.
Hunza Valley is considered one of the most beautiful valleys of Gilgit-Baltistan. It consists of Upper Hunza, Central Hunza, and Lower Hunza. Karimabad is the major city of the valley and has all facilities for mountaineers and tourists.[2] The popularity of the Hunza Valley and the amount of tourism there is due in part to its relative accessibility and proximity to the Karakoram Highway.
Major tourist attractions in Hunza are:
Attabad Lake - A major lake of Hunza Valley. It was created following a landslide at Hunza River near Attabad village on 4 January 2010. The resulting damming of the river caused the lake to slowly form, submerging several villages and displacing up to 6,000 people.
Baltit Fort - An old medieval fort located in Karimabad. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Hussaini Suspension Bridge - A long wooden suspension bridge over Hunza River near Husaaini village. It is sometimes referred locally to as the "Indiana Jones Bridge" It is termed as one of the most dangerous bridges in the world.
Khunjerab Pass - At 4,693 meters, this is the highest border crossing in the world. It is also the only modern crossing on the China-Pakistan border. Most tourists visit on a daytrip from Hunza to see the border and then leave. The surrounding area is also a part of the Khunjerab National Park, which was set up to protect local, endangered wildlife, specifically the Marco Polo sheep.
Rakaposhi is a mountain in north of Pakistan in the karakoram mountain range. It is situated in the Nagar valley in Gilgit Baltistan
Attabad lake is also situated in Hunza Nagar. Attabad lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Pakistan

@@jioboy2676 Whats gonna happen if we hands over you the Kashmir, let me tell this to you, let's see point by point:
1. Pakistan will be happy for a short period and then will shift its demand to Punjab as Half Punjab is in Pakistan just like J&K. Terrorism will start in Punjab like the 80s supported by Pakistan, just like AZAD Kashmir , it will be Khalistan
2. The worst part will be J&K will another under developed state like POK. There will be no jobs. Tourism will sour as Indians will not be allowed. The per capita income of J&K will become bad to worst.
3.Terrorism factory will be shifted from J&K border to Punjab border.
4. Huriyat will be disappointed as their fund will be completely stopped and they will no longer receive funds from Pakistan.
5. Kashmiris and Pakistanis will have internal clash for AZAD KASHMIR just like Baluchistan.
6. Since Pakistan is already loaded with heavy loans , Very small amount will be given to Kashmir just like Baluch for development.
7. Kashmir Muslims who are brothers of Pakistan as of today will become Muhajir all of a sudden just like Bengalis and Baluchs
8. Fund from India for development of Kashmir will stop with immediate effect
9. Kashmiri Apples will be Sold in Pakistan for lower price than India as demand in India is more than Pakistan. Duty will be imposed by India on Kashmiri Apple to protect Himachal Apple farmers.
10. Finally it will be too late for Kashmiris to know, what blunder they have done by joining Pakistan.
Some Kashmiris may feel they will be more happy being Independent rather than joining India or Pakistan. J &K will face more heat if they become independent. It will be dead lock land from CHINA, INDIA and Pakistan. They have to depend on any one of the 3 country, who are going to squeeze them , once they are independent. It will be another Afghanistan, where Pakistan did not allow to trade. Afghanistan is lucky that India and Iran rescued them from Chabahar Port. Kashmiris should remember that Afghanistan is a Muslim country and are more happy with India rather than Pakistan to trade. Any govt requires revenue to run the country and revenue is generated through trade. Kashmir will have a very tough time if it is independent.
Note: I would love to hear any kashmiri's opinion over this.

I am not, I am just aware of your history as much as I am aware of African hutu issues, North and South Korea, and China - Hong Kong And Taiwan issues. I don't need to change anything from where I am from. It's not my country's problem. Both India and Pakistan lose out and weaken the region when their continue their border and cultural animosity. Easy for third party (country) powers to use the both your weaknesses and enmity against you and keep you divided and unfriendly. India and Pakistan are enemies of each other on the same sub-continent that was once together. Too bad. Too much finger pointing as you're already doing to me. Fault finding is too ingrained into you to point at each other, it's your default. Only the people of both countries fix their problems as they did against foreign rule years ago.
