It does not need to be high flow We can set it up with different motor options Here is a link to it on our website www.ccsurplus.com/inventory/?/listing/for-sale/216512871/2022-baumalight-s18-stump-grinder?dlr=1&accountcrmid=1690271&settingscrmid=1690271
8/14/22. Yes.. Great info on yur Baumalite Canadian stump grinder in this video. Matched up w/Bobcat (T660?) stumps were ground up very quickly. Thx Clint for operational tips on depth of grinding to prevent overload/reduced RPM ='s inefficient cutting. So do not overwhelm blade/sink blade too deep into stump. Kinda understood but always good to show that close up shot of aprox 2-3" of blade edge cutting stump. Very good demo Clint. Maybe more info on that Bobcat's GPM rating but you were clear (&you did show) mfgr has website with detailed data on all ranges of GPM vs. efficiency of grinding. Those Canadian engineers have made a very fine machine. Thx Clint. Good video 2day! 👍👍👍🛠⚙🙂
I been looking at 1 and like what I see. Able to see what the wheel is doing and send chips to left is great so you can see how much stump is left to grind on. Have a great day be safe.
Thanks for the great review Clint 👍 I checked them out after Mike at Dirt Perfect tried out his mower he bought off you. And I was surprised about the paint also most thing that get rubbed and hot the paint comes off. Made in Canada 🇨🇦 👍👍👍👍👍
Great video. ’ve been grinding stumps for over 25y. And those things are slow. I’ve had three or four companies come out and demo one with me, i just had Bradco out of college station Texas bring their best swinger over and we put it on my Kubota SVL 97. The only benefit i can see over mine was sitting in that air-conditioned cab operating it. I have 2 stump grinders both vemeers a sc70tx and a sc352. Light and easy to maneuver and fast. On those little stumps it would’ve taken longer to unload and reload the machine then it would be to knock those out. I mean if you already have a skid steer and you bought one of those attachments they are great, but in my business it would never be commercially viable, they are just too slow. The skid steer is heavy, tear up the ground a lot especially you backing up and forth 25 times on that first stump. You can see what it did to the grass. And not to mention my 2 vermeers are extremely portable, you can throw them on a single axle bumper pull on a 1/2 and go to five or six jobs a day. Pardon any weird spelling or phrases, I’m bouncing down my pasture Road talking to Siri😎
Yep I think this fits someone who doesn’t grind stumps for a living but just every so often and if they have a skid steer already it’s not a big investment
@@C_CEQUIPMENT yes that’s the key to it, if you already have that piece equipment it’s a great investment. We have a couple of large ranches around here that have them for their own use.
Hi from uk guys 👋 👍 wow what a awesome piece of kit 👌 I liked how its hinged and not fixed as this will allow the blade to make a better decision on cut as it cuts at it own kinda speed even tho operator in control of machine 👍 and its fascinating to watch things that spin quick as the optical illusion is its not spinning or slow and goes reverse for split second bt in fairness its just spinning might fast 👍 and yeah Clint good feedback about paint after the run it wasn't fazed by the stumping at all so good manufacturing and quality product for the industry or private just for Clearing stumps 👌 good demo thanks for your time be safe and see you soon 👍 👋
Clint like the other guy said good for a guy has loader and only does few stumps from time to time just getting below grade had one similar slow but got job done my rg50 and my 75hp tow behind grinder suits me well 👍 it totally did the job its supposed to
That is pretty impressive, I've seen and worked several different grinders over the years but that one is a little different but seems to work great . Great video,Stay safe
from the look of it best way to use it is to of course go left side first then let the weight of the cutter do the work an move back a bit keeping it with a bit of load till its cut through then reset an go for another bite very nice unit! i used one of them tow behind ones an it was a bear on willow which sucks up silica into its wood an eats chain saw teeth for candy
With all the different attachments on skid steers, they do everything but cook dinner or iron the wrinkles out of your shirt. Next they will drill wells for water ... maybe they already do

Do you have a ballpark price on a websight? Looks like it works great. Does it need to be a high flow machine?

cool
no one remarked it but this attachment functions horizontally instead of normal attachments which function vertically
that is a very good stump grinder

Glad to hear it's not Chinese junk.
could use the hickory and maple chips for smoking jerky

OH!1ya!! Stumping ! Cheers! ;-)!!
First 👍's up C C E thanks for sharing
Thanks for the first 👍
Pulling perpendicular to the cutting wheel looks hard on bearings and the wheel itself, is experience the only gauge for this? Pretty fast action!
Is the blade reversible?
It is good looking equipment for sure.
I don’t think so
Does it have an optional tank and spray nozzle for colored chips? - lol
Great video Clint 🇺🇲 I really appreciate you sharing this information
Thanks for watching
Clinton making raw lumber for Ikea furniture. Lol God bless
Lol
I could have used that yesterday. My wife made biscuits. Lol.
🤦♂️
I might have left a oak stomp for mushrooms in the fall
See the canister under near the blade - remove as it will rip off. Lost mine as I used my tractor. (different product).
Yep
Lost it during a video

Does it only cut in reverse?
Yes
That’s a nice attachment seem to b built vary well not china stuff is the best part lol
Yep
Stump grinding v Digging out ??
Less intrusive in certain areas
Looks like you will wear out the teeth on the tractor side of the wheel. What’s your opinion ?
They are carbide tipped and showed no signs of wear after this so I don’t think it would be an issue
What kind of teeth are using are they using tiger teeth or what kind of cheese are they using
Yes I would call it a tiger tooth
The paint! 3x lol
did you say your giving this away on your youtube channel just kidding
Lol
