    Wow! That's how Irish music should be played. Until I read the text I thought the session actually was in Ireland. It reminds me I must pop across from Pembrokeshire to Co Wicklow and join in some sessions - it's been a couple of years.

      I am just starting to learn the tin whistle at 64 so never too late. Really enjoying it. Never played anything before n was kicked out of the choir when I was 10

    Definitely more cheery than Miss Julie or Wild Strawberries,,,glad to have my stereotype of Swedish/Nordic miserabilism destroyed, Take your playing to Ireland,,,this is a just weregeld for the ninth century Nordic invasion, You might find you have ancestors/relatives there, Whatever,,,,your playing is a joy and a delight

      Don't give up! I had the same kind of "Frankenstein" hands, you just have to keep playing and eventually they will loosen up. I have been playing the Fiddle for three years and I still have to fight being stiff, but I am starting to get there. I wish I could join this jam session. I already do one at an Irish Pub near where I live.
