Yes high protein/healing is a thing. I was recently hospitalized due to an infections that caused open wounds and I had to eat large portions of protein. Double portions of meat, cheese, milk, and yogurt along with a gross protein drink that they added to juice.

I seldom have luck with no bake cookies. Either they spread like a crepe, or are stiff like a dryer ball. Lately instead of scooping as a cookie, I’ll dump the dough in an 8x8 and make a bar. If it’s too lose to cut, we just scoop it with a spoon. We are not fancy here!

I've found that usually texture has something to do with the length of time you boil the sugar/butter/milk/cocoa mixture. The longer you boil, the harder the finished cookie is. My family recipe says 2 minutes at a rolling boil. Sounds good either way though!

My family doesn't eat pork so I make my own sausage crumble using online spice blend recipes! C) fry it in butter NOT olive oil - or a mix of both but I prefer when the butter starts to caramelize aka burn a bit because it helps bring out its smoky fatty flavour like pork sausage!

Weigh your empty bowl , wright it down. Make your batter, weigh again. Subtract bowl weight.
Divide ,on paper, how much each loaf should weigh. If making two loafs..... add weight of 1 loaf + bowl weight. (This is your weight for pan #2 🍞)
Then scoop dough into first pan until the bowl reaches the pan #2 🍞weight

Anytime I am using peanut butter for recipes I always microwave it in the measuring cup for 30 sec. Makes combining/mixing so much easier

I have the same banana bread recipe. Mine has baking soda and powder tho, and came from my grandma. For the nobake, I never add pb. Makes it so my nephew can eat them, and I totally cheat by spreading them in a pan and cut them like bars later. As a new subscriber I have to say I love your energy and videos.

    Vegan Banana Bread Recipe
    3 medium, ripe bananas
    ¼ c vegetable oil
¼ c almond (or other vegan) milk
½ c brown sugar (or ½ c course sugar and some molasses)
    2 c all-purpose flour
    1 t cinnamon
    1 t baking soda
    ½ t salt
    2 t pure vanilla extract
    1 c walnut pieces, optional
¾ c vegan chocolate chips, optional
Preheat oven to 350oF. Spray or coat with oil a 9” x 5” loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, roughly mash the bananas with a fork. It's fine to leave some little chunks.
Add brown sugar, oil, and almond milk and combine well with fork.
Add flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda, vanilla and mix well with a spatula.
Toss walnuts and chocolate chips with a little flour to coat and add to the bowl and stir to mix.
Transfer the batter to prepared pan.
Bake 45 min. then cover with foil (carefully because it transfers heat right away) and bake another 15 min. or until a knife comes out clean or with only a few crumbs.
You could probably also use this recipe to make banana muffins.
