Yugo Kanno went so fucking hard especially with desperate struggle and clock works each of which are unironically and in the literal sense peak, each of them tell a story masterfully.
the ost complemented everything so well. Stone Ocean C-Moon Awakening through What A Wonderful World is one of the best in all of fiction. Intense action, universal laws and physics being broken, catholic themes and imagery, the character motivations and background, the indomitable human spirit, its just peak fiction.
I'm not even lying when I say I felt actual fear watching the last few episodes of Stone Ocean and these OSTs were playing. Like goosebumps, crying, everything. Maybe I'm too invested in Jojo's but part 6 broke me.

I think the reason why this OST sends so much chills up my spine, is because it not only evokes a feeling of inevitability and despair. It truly feels like a marriage of both the holy and unholy, and that kind of solidifies not only the plot of JoJo but the very creation of our universe. Duality is a terrifying truth. Watching the ending of this anime truly felt like I was on a Acid trip, it blew my mind even more than Evangelion did. 10/10 masterpiece of storytelling.

The arrangement on "The Martyr, Joestar Joline" is the most terrifying orchestra I have ever heard. Forget every other classic. Here, you can feel how an entire universe is collapsing due to death of the last crusader capable to protect it.
Il vento d'oro is without a doubt Yugo Kanno's Magnum opus but after listening to the stone ocean ost i would like to say that ambition wise it's so far from the " desperate Struggle " i consider desperate struggle as the best ost made by kanno and one of the best pieces of music i've ever Heard in any media its showcases perfectly the terror of the stand made in Heaven and the despair of stone ocean's final act

the music for this fight was swag, really made it feel like a losing struggle, and the horror of emporio looking in at the NOTCUJOH's was fantstic really felt like a feeling of watching a being that took the place of an important person to make a mockery of them after they had just died and the final bus stop end music was amazing (roundabout felt like it was shoved in there last minute to make it fit with the timing and it sounds awkward as fuck when it happens, yeah it's a cool final send off to the jonathon saga but it could've been timed better, honestly felt like they were gonna use sono chi no sadame but netflix pushed for le epic reddit song) but my only REAL problem is for the emporio part personally i think that it should've been a more triumphant but slow choice of music because pucci had won, he killed the protagonist, he had created a new universe, the only thing left in his way was a literal child who had managed to ruin everything for him in and then he was crushed to death, lost to his own fate. i understand the choice of jolynes theme because it was her faith in emporio, but cmon man just let emporio have his moment to shit talk pucci he's been through a lot we dont need jotaro's theme for someone dying a slow and painful death having all their achievements be for nothing and then get non-existance'd from the universe returning to normal
