DIO’s theme just screams “MENACING” to me, that’s just me but I get those vibes, especially from his other one, Awakening Darkness Of The World of I think that’s what it’s called, it embodies the word menacing for me and I love that for my favorite JoJo character!

His theme just has such a sinister quality to it. Like the other themes sound menacing or powerful, or in Kira's case sneaky, but Puccis just sounds like the word Evil itself
With Kars banished to outer space and Whammu and Eisidisi dead, Santana is the last Pillar Man left and currently he is sealed away with the Speedwagon Foundation keeping a close eye on him.

That concerns me as I am waiting for a fanfiction to be written where a power outage or something like that happens and Santana wakes up and learns of his masters' deaths and enact revenge on the world. He could end up being an emotionless Part 1 Dio.
The subtle reference at 1:30 to “Before Lights Out” is a nod to the Japanese DIO actor being the same actor that plays Zeke/Beast Titan in AOT.
Was about to comment about that. I love aot and listen to OST mixes constantly but I've never watched Jojo. Maybe I should give it a try.

Pillar Men and Kars' themes are awesome to listen while doing a workout.
Jojo has some of the best thought out villains and best villain themes of any franchise ever. Prove me wrong. They are deeper than 100% of Hollywood villains, and Samuel Kim brings that out better than anyone in their music.
Take Yoshikage Kira for an example......like literal perfection for a villain...not that I WANNA RULE THE WORLD shit... just wants a peaceful life and to get away with hand fetish and murders
Although I agree with you mostly, I don't think they are *100%* deeper than Hollywood villains. Sure, some Jojo villains are really good and some Hollywood villains are kinda bad, but both have exceptions. Especially Hollywood, which makes movies since 1910, there are some extremely exceptional villains that I personally think tower above any anime or most Hollywood villains. Hannibal Lecter from ''the silence of the lambs'', Norman Bates from ''Psycho'' or Anton Chigurh from ''No country for old men'' are good examples for really good Hollywood villains.
And also I wouldn't say that all Jojo villains are really that deep. Like yes Funny Valentine, Pucci and Yoshikage are definitely really well written, but I think it's questionable whether DIO/Dio Brando is really that good, and Kars ain't really that deep. But that's just my opinion.

I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like wining and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.

The last note from Diavolo's theme and the first note from Pucci's theme were basically the same note, so the transition from one to another would've been legendary.
The two themes are in the same tone/scale. I personally think Diavolo's theme was so good they made a similar theme for Pucci. At 22:20, they even use the own Diavolo's theme.

Talk about perfect timing, I’ve started watching JOJO a week and a half, and I’m already at Part 4.
Villains of part 2 created the stone mask, made out Villain of part 1
Villain of part 5 found mysterious arrows, created Villain of part 3
Villain of part 3 sent bow and arrow to Morioh, created Villain of part 4
Villain of part 3 met and discussed to Pucci, made him became to a Villain of part 6
The kars/Pillar man theme is awesome i especially enjoyed the part when you mixed jospehs theme with the Kars theme

It's just extremely weird to see DIO in part 6 with a completely different ideology and morals than in part 3.
In the part 6 flashbacks he tells Pucci that power wont satisfy him but in part 3 he is constantly talking about taking over the world.
@@obambagaming1467 I thought that was weird too. He was literally gave up being human in exchange for power so I find it odd that he was a lot more laid back in 6 unless it was just his way of manipulating pucci due to how much potential he had

Ngl the other day when I was listening to the JoJo themes video I had asked myself "wouldn't it be great if Samuel made one of these for other JoJo themes?" and then Diavolo's theme dropped and I was like "oh yeah, it's coming in maybe like a couple weeks" only for this to drop a couple days later. I'm excited to hear whatever comes next!

One epic thing is common to this villains of Jojo. They do some things that makes them hateable and make more loveable.because they was perfect on their role and destination.

I wish we would've gotten another villain theme like the Pillar Men or Kars, even if they were side villains.
I wish more anime had great main character and villain themes like Jojo. And I wish there was more music like the Pillar Men and Kars themes. Maybe I just haven't discovered any.
