I just got this fridge in the counter depth and my ice does fall in the back. My top sliding things look different than yours and my scoop won’t fit on the top like yours. This is such a bummer, it’s so frustrating. I wish mine was like yours!
Try reversing the ice bucket, put the back to the front. Not sure if that will help but the angle of the bucket might make a difference. Sometimes ice can get back there if you push the ice over when you are scooping your ice out. I also noticed on very rare occasions if I have the entire bucket out, and the ice releases from the top, then I have to clean it up. But that’s rare, and just a timing coincidence that the bucket isn’t there.
Thank you for replying. I think it’s because it’s counter depth, unfortunately. I just reversed the buckets, like you suggested. The only difference though is a tiny lip on it. So, we’ll see. I have to put the scoop in the ice, which means people touching the handle then putting back in ice 🫤. I don’t know why Samsung couldn’t make a spot for it. At the moment I’m using the phone app to turn the makers off when almost full and turning on when needed, which is redundant.
@@Pink-L80 It could be user error and not the fridge. try being really careful when scooping out the ice to see if this is the cause. If you have kids, they could be pushing the ice to the back. If you think the auto shut off is the problem, then I would do a test and not use your ice for several days once the icemaker is full and see if that’s the problem. Then you can have it serviced if that’s the culprit. If I couldn’t put my ice scooper on top of the icemaker, then I would put it in the door storage area for easy access.
I just purchased this fridge and it's supposed to be delivered next week. I have a couple of questions. Can the water be turned off to the pitcher in the beverage center? I was wondering if i could use the pitcher for iced tea and not have water keeping it full. How much does the pitcher hold? It looks like maybe it's a half gallon size. Thanks so much. You had a great review.
The water pitcher for the refrigerator holds 5 1/2 cups of water. I’m not sure about turning it off, but I’m sure you could. I would look at the owners manual. You can purchase another beverage container from Samsung that fits the refrigerator, it’s around $100., and use that for iced tea. Or like I do, I just use my own container and store it in the fridge. I started using the dispenser with flavored fruit in the container, but then found that I like to have a container that has pure water in it. A second container is very helpful for flavored drinks or iced tea. Be sure to wash out the beverage container every few weeks as a film builds up inside.
Thanks for your detailed video. It’s hard to come across one like yours.
I felt the bottom of the freezer shelves were very dark. You think it could have done with more lights?
Hey there. Thank you for the review. Mine will be here in a few days. Is yours still running fine so far without any issues?
Still love it!

Can you give the model number of this refrigerator? Thank you
The model number is RF29A9675AP/AA
Is this counter or standard depth? Thank you
Standard
How much of a gap between the left wall and fridge? Thank you!!
1 inch on each side. The cabinet opening is 38 1/2 inches total width. This cabinet was made for a wider fridge.
Hi, I have a question, can a fridge magnet still works on this surface?
No the surface is glass. The Magnets will only stick to the sides of the door, and side of the refrigerator.
@@theartladyshome1169Thanks
