I moved back to JA...its been great, everything goes slower, it was hard adjusting at first but thats the beauty of it... im a full year in and realize that I get to be more mindful, more creative and live in the moment, im not living to work and working to live like I would on the US...dont chase materialism...we bring nothing with us but memories in the end, while it is important to be okay financially.....a humble home and lifestyle offers far more in the end....you do not need a fancy car or three storey mansion where you cant climb the stairs or maintain in old age, as far as Healthcare....I travel for my check ups and you can find good doctors in the public hospitals here. Grow your own food and you will be fine moving back.

Living abroad is okay in its own way, but when things start getting crazy in these big countries, you are going to be happy to have a country to run back to. So don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

My husband and I are much older than the two of about to retire and we are looking to retire back to his home country 🇧🇧 in the very near future.
