Tristars has most beautiful and roomiest cockpit back in the days, even better than DC-10 and 747 classic , noticed the FO smoking in the cockpit, nice...! what a lovely old day... this is true freedom!!!!!
These guys are true professionals. One could effectively argue that gloves are a great idea as hands are prone to sweat and exude oils that could potentially foul a sensitive electronic switch.

I flew this amazing and beautiful aircraft to GIG with TAP Air Portugal some good years ago...she was the flagship carrier of our national airline...good times...so long CS-TEA L-1011 TriStar 500
Weird. As an ex-Tristar FE, we used to be facing forward for all critical stages of flight and would be setting take-off thrust, setting climb power and so on. This is a peculiarly Asian method of operation.
Amazing! I wonder why the Flight Engineer is not wareing the 2-stripe epaulettes. I know why. Its just that I like the old-classic 4, 3, 2 stripe-flight--crew-epaulette-style. Those cockpit windows are huge! How come Boeing's is not that big? lol!
All Videoes from the cockpit, that is filmed in japan or whit japanese pilots have White-Glows? how come. Are they scare of getting any kind of sickness from the Aeroplanes panels or something. Or is it just a cool thing to have! they get more chickes or something!

気象レーダーがグリーンのモノトーン。今の液晶ディスプレイや、タブレット端末も併用する今の機体とは隔世の感。今のパイロットは（ライセンス抜きで）DC8とか飛ばせないかも。
90年代初頭、成田空港でL1のPBB装着したままNo2ENG始動してPBBをガタガタ揺したまま搭乗させていたという今では考えられない事していた時代です。
いやーーーーこれだけ巨大なものを空中で操作できるってすごい技だし語学堪能なのがかっこいいです❤どうやればここまでになれますか‼️😮
広いコックピットですね。何度見ても楽しい。
ロッキードの機体。味がありました。電気信号ではなく機械で飛んでいました。フライバイワイアが導入される前ですから当然ですが、、。重量感を感じられる乗り心地でした。
I flew on one on my way to Saudi Arabia in 1999 for southern watch..What a great plane!

why are DC 10 still flying even though it crashes alot while the l-1011 is the total opposite?it does not make sense to me at all

the l-1011 is not flying anymore because of main spar cracks, the dc-10 is still flying......

とある航空機の灰皿はスバルの軽トラと互換性があってそれを流用してたのを思い出したよ、灰皿さえ航空機部品の名称だったから高価で節約のため軽トラのヤツねwww
