An Apache Ramada was the first camper I ever bought on my own & I loved it!! I have had regular Pop Ups but they didn’t hold a candle to the Apache Ramada. I mounted a window type AC in the front & it kept us very cool. I blackout tinted all the windows which kept them from cracking & helped with insulation a bit. My Mother made two full sets of drapes for the windows…one set for spring/summer & one heavier set for fall/winter. I put down foam backed Berber Carpet & that made a world of difference during Hunting Season. I also took everything out when I got it home & sealed all floor areas, wall & corners at the seams. I put foam board insulation along all walls & under & around the water tank before reinstalling everything. One Holiday Weekend there were 8 of us camping in it at Chadwick, Mo riding motorcycles. It was awesome even with that many adults in there none of us felt crowded. I’m glad you are saving this one, they are definitely worth saving! 🇺🇸
