  • This week I tried to replace the protective sleeves for the axles! I forgot to drain the oil before hand but I think that there would be oil coming out anyway. Never the less good progress is being made! The diesel lines of the previous video are also replaced! I did find some new air leaks that will need to be resolved...

    are you sure rubber hoses will do it?! Tatra didn't put the metal pipes there for nothing, it's an air-cooled engine (with oil) and there will be high temperatures right there near the engine. The 120°C temperature of the engine (oil) shown by the thermometer is no exception. Look in the cabin for the thermometers to which values ​​they are calibrated. The temperature of the cylinder head ranges from 120 - 180 - 240°C.

      Thanks for the reply! Good point. I choose rubber ones because on the left close to the engine there were already rubber lines. The lines that I bought are for meant for high temperature in the engine compartment. But I will double check the temperatures! Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated 😄
