Wondering if you could have done this quicker and with more finesse just with advanced luminosity masking rather than all that work with the paths tool
These shots are really tricky. Looking from a shadowy interior to a great external view. We’ll done very helpful. Image looks great and not flambient real estate looking
Love love love your work, Adam! This is a great video demonstrating the involved process we go through in order to make the absolute best photo possible. And . . . why we need to charge hundreds of dollars for a single image! Sometimes, it's a challenge to convey this to our clients.
Amazing work, Adam. It’s hard to imagine a more challenging subject. Super high contrast, shiny surfaces, stuff that moves… you had to manage all of it. Really well done. All of that precise masking work must have been a ton of fun. 😅
Great work Adam, thanks for sharing. I'm curious how an ambient only photographer would achieve this same shot, but using no flash at all. Would it be possible?
You could get close(ISH), but it definitely wouldn't be the same. Key things like the light fixture, table, chairs, etc. would be way off. I'm sure you could get a nice look...but it would be a different look.
You could use a CPL filter to eliminate some of the reflection on the surfaces, using a camera with a good dynamic range and a good lens. I use an umbrella to eliminate some reflections, turn on the lights to get some additional lighting in some surfaces. It truly is hard work, but you can get a nice photo too.
This is a great breakdown, much appreciated. Very interesting to see how a proper architecture pro works. All I could think of was someone asking "so why is architectural photography so much more expensive than real estate photography?" haha

Would love to see an example of what you're talking about. Maybe there are some techniques I should add to my tool bag...
@@adamtaylorphotos I use Lumenzia from Greg Benz and he has many tutorials here.

Thank you Joni! Looking forward to having you join the workshop...appreciate the support!
@@adamtaylorphotos Actually, I signed up for the workshop right after watching this video! Can't wait to see your process, from booking to delivery.

Thanks Peter! This one definitely threw everything at me at once! Haha.

@@aldobelenda907 All good points!
I love your videos! Do you have in mind to do a video working on editing of the exterios photos? Best regards from Portugal :)
I will keep that in mind for sure! I have some ideas... But right now I'm very busy with a lot of shoots and traveling! Thank you!
Very nice, continue the good work, cheers!@@adamtaylorphotos

Haha thank you!
Amazing! And some dumb clients might say taking an interior photo shouldn’t not cost more than $60…
