The Drewdrop and I are still loving our purchase. We have watched more movies, since we got the Reavon, in the last month than ever before. I do truly love the build and picture quality the most. The price is still a big hurdle to get over. I love this machine completely, but I wish it wasn't 800 dollars. But, still you get what you paid for. As for another update video on this machine, the Drewdrop and I might do it, it depends on when we get the time. Thanks Erik Dolnack for the comment.
@@Badraven I purchased a Reavon X100 from Zappiti, but it hasn't arrived it the mail yet. (I'm getting impatient). I'm very excited to see the difference in video quality. Did you and the Dewdrop also notice any significant improvement in audio quality as well from the Reavon?
@@erikdolnack2737 I did notice a little better sound. I watched Jaws 4k on my projector, and it looked and sound better than I had ever seen or heard it.
In my opinion the Reavon is a better 4K player than the Xbox series X. But, if you play more games than movies you should be satisfied with Xbox 4K player.
I never really thought it was loud to me personally. But not everybody has the same hearing. The sound of the player never messed up my enjoyment of any movie I played on it. I hope this helped you.

@@altodomino7859 I looked through the manual and it doesn't say it can control any other device or tv. It doesn't have remote control codes in the manual either. So, I assume it doesn't have that functionality.
For me Erik, it was. It might not be enough of improvement for some. The price tag is pretty hefty as the Drewdrop said in the video. Not everyone will want to pay a premium price for more bells and whistles. I was looking for something more when I found this company, and after I did my homework I was ready to buy. Thanks for responding to my video fmulder1989. There is a hidden feature that is not advertised, and I wasn't allowed to put in the video. The company would get in trouble if it was mentioned. They take their copyright stuff very serious. You can type in a certain code in the setup menu and it will let you choose what region your located in. I don't have any other regions movies to check it out, but the menu is there when you type the code 8765. It magically appears. Thanks again for asking the question.
@@fmulder1989 I don't know for sure if it is permanent or not. I just know that you can change it. I wish I could tell you more, but I am new to all of this myself also. I am going to get me a different region bluray in the near future and test it out.
@@fmulder1989 I haven't noticed the sound being loud while running the player. The one thing that annoys the Drewdrop and I, is when the player is turned on and it checks to see if their is a disc in the player, we get a blank screen that flashes and then it says "no disc", very annoying. But, I still love the playback and the machines versatility. Thanks for checking back in and telling your experience with the player.
When you pay 800 dollars and realize its just a fancy 4K player. LMAO... Wish I had one. lol. Still waiting for the price point to come down and build quality to increase on a good 4k projector. When paying for higher quality components, I use the justification that Ive already paid countless thousands on media so why not get the best conversion/upconversion you can get.

Can this replace my Xbox one x as a 4k player? I'm using my Xbox for gaming it can also play movies. Beautiful toy!

Cannot belive these people, if you want it buy it, read the reviews everywhere, YES IT IS MULTI-REGION
It is a great 4k player and yes it is region free.
