Enginetuner RAW // Subaru Impreza gets Link ECU plus anti lag and launch control!

Russell's Subaru Impreza WRX was scheduled with Enginetuner to undergo a comprehensive suite of enhancements, coupled with some essential maintenance work.
Initially, Technician Bailey addressed the maintenance requirements, meticulously examining an exhaust blow. Upon assessment, Bailey identified the root cause as a compromised mid-pipe accompanied by a deteriorating gasket.
Having rectified the exhaust issue, the subsequent task for our team involved replacing the cracked headers to ensure optimal performance, particularly in conjunction with future mapping adjustments by Martyn (more on that later).
Following this, the installation of a new lambda sensor, replacement of a malfunctioning coil, and a precise welding operation to affix a new temperature sensor onto the intercooler pipe.
Transitioning from maintenance to performance modifications, the enhancements encompassed the integration of a flex fuel sensor and the installation of a Enginetuner Driver Display Unit alongside a Link ECU supplied by Enginetuner. Subsequently, Martyn assumed responsibility for optimising the vehicle's performance. Commencing with the creation of a tailored map via PC Link for 99RON fuel, Martyn then progressed to design a methanol-specific map, facilitating the utilisation of a 30% methanol blend with 99RON fuel. Additionally, Martyn incorporated launch control and anti-lag functionalities, both of which can be accessed and controlled through the ET DDU.
